I read everyone comments and I actually agree with everyone who has different perspective on the price increase. And there's the problem, no one is playing the piece of crap new structure game. The real analysis is how fast the jackpot grows. My analysis was about the odds of winning which has absolutely nothing to do with the growth in the jackpot. That is the REAL analysis. Your point is valid. It just has nothing to do with what I wrote. Everyone here else is commenting on the higher $5.00 price and its behavior on their buying a ticket. That also is affecting Mega Millions buyers nationwide. Precisely my point.
