California Reporting a $40 Million Powerball Jackpot
I know, I know.... When I said odds, I mean the lottery. You have to choose the right lottery to play first. So odds is important. When you talk about probability, you are talking about the skill of playing the lottery. They are not the same. Make sense? I studied math so I shall know what odds I have before I choose which lottery to play. Then after I choose it, I need to figure out which way to play to have the best probability of winning.

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
I know that feeling and it's pretty frustrating. By playing #35 and it having been drawn, you actually lowered your odds to win a jackpot to 2,432 to 1 because you needed to match four numbers instead of all five. Because you didn't have any other numbers, that clearly demonstrates how even 2,432 to 1 is still very high odds to overcome and win a jackpot. What's masked or covered up by not winning any prize at all is the fact that you did in fact lower the odds as much as you did. That's

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
LO's have a lot to lose . Well someone in Manhattan won Mega Millions this week. So, YOU LOSE AGAIN! You're so big on probability math , then you say supposedly 1 in 305,575,350 odds ? Dude, those odds are not supposedly, they're REAL. That is simple math. If you're even capable of doing simple math. Those odds are why the ONLY way you, me, or anyone else would ever win MM or PB is pure, simple luck. But, you just go on sounding like a dumb a$$.

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
No. YOU say they're running from YOU when the megaball isn't one of the 20 that you post. YOU are the one that says they're running from. Focused on the math ? Dude, it doesn't take a genius to look at the odds of the game to realize they don't have to run from anyone to keep from winning, especially the megaball. Over a $2 win??? They certainly don't have to focus on math, they definitely know all about probability. Again, the odds show you probability . Don't misunderstand, I'm in no way re

You are in a lottery pool - on average over 6000 tickets are brought
The odds of winning second prize in Mega Millions are 1 in 12,607,306. That means if you purchased 6,000 tickets, your odds are 6,000 in 12,607,306. Simplified, that equates to your pool's odds of winning second prize of 1 in 2,101. So if you purchase 6,000 tickets every consecutive drawing, you can expect to win second prize at least once every 2,101 drawings. At 104 drawings per year, that would be 20 years. You can certainly get lucky and win much sooner than that, but if you play 6,

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Hi MsBee18, nice info on the 200X reorder, I hadn't noted that yet so thanks for passing along, indeed looks like a reorder is in the works - will be interesting to see what size it is. I know what you mean about the Mop'oly series...have never won more than $200 on any of the $20 versions, and I've played my fair share of them. I'm still pretty amazed at the absolute polarization of odds in the new $20 GR Limited for $100 and below, and $200 and higher. Yeah the odds for $5M are better than

Pennsylvania Lottery Strategies
The biggest improvement you'll ever make in the odds of winning is buying a lottery ticket. With just one ticket the odds go from IMPOSSIBLE to IMPROBABLE! And buying 2 tickets or more formulated with Probability Math?, the odds of winning go from iMpRoBabLe to IMMUTABLY INEVITABLY PROBABLE..!! But will POSSIBLY send LOs into IMPROBABLE chaos citing Technical Difficulties ..!! -Stat$talker

How to be successful lottery winner
According to patent records, the LCSF patent is assigned to a random dude, not a Lottery or other gaming related business. What evidence is there that lotteries use LCSF technology? It is possible that said dude could have sold or licensed the rights to the LCSF tech to a lottery or gaming company in a private transaction, which would be hard to investigate. On the other hand, a state lottery would have to disclose use of LCSF tech because they have to publish the true odds of their games, an

Bad Lottery Games in the past? :/
The New York Lottery once offered a game called 'Sweet Million'. It actually had pretty good odds to win a million dollars - 3.8 million to 1, and it was NOT parimuteul. No state anywhere offered a game with lower odds to win a million bucks. So why did NY pull the plug on it? Sweet Million had the reverse problem you've asked about. The game really didn't suck, but players in NY hated it anyway. They hated it because the lower tier prizes were awful. 2nd place (having 5 out of 6 numbers o
