How to increase the winning odds of Pick 4 or 4D?
Do you agree with us that Pick 4 is a game of mathematical equations To increase your winning odds, we have to understand the complexity of mathematical analysis in probability and permutation to get the right equations for the winning numbers of Pick 4? I used data from two different lottery games to demonstrate the impact of game design in shaping two erroneous beliefs: the gambler s fallacy and the hot-hand fallacy. Field data showed that, when there are multiple prizes in a lottery gam

Computer Drawings Rigged?
The odds are saying that you going to loose. Each drawing is future drawings so if you lucked up in the past doesn't mean your going to win that much in the future. For me certain times of the year gets messed up on strategy so you have to learn those months that aren't as good for you and take a break or slow down on running numbers. You have to learn when doubles are running in your state and when common numbers are running if doubles are running go for the doubles. If single numbers are runnin

Virginia: 10/1 - 10/31/2020
What are the odds? Well, the odds of an 8 not being drawn each time they draw a ball are 9 out of 10 or 0.9, so, if you think of each draw as being 3 individual draws of one ball, each with a probability of 0.9, then the odds are 0.9 raised to the power of the number of digits drawn since the last 8 was drawn. As of now, since the day draw, there have been 23 draws so 69 digits plus the one digit drawn on the night of the 19th after the 8 in 689 makes 70. That makes the probability = 0.970 =

has anyone done any study of the digit wheels by position only?
Always like the pick 5 digits games because of the large number of playing options and the reasonable winning potentials. But that still doesn't translate into an easy to win something game. Have no idea why any lottery would offer a pick 6 digit game much less a pick 7 especially with game odds of 10 million to 1. If it had the same 50% of odds payoff structure as the other games, some people would play for a chance to win $5 million. Who is going to play a game with those odds and a jackpot

I think its interesting that the odds of winning $1m on PB is better than MB - and winning $50k on PB is just slightly worse than AoN (PB $50K is 900k odds vs AoN $100k is 700k odds) Sadly MM has the bigger JP but their 3rd tier prize is only $10k not $50k like PB.

If you calculate the odds yourself the top prize is 1:705,432 odds. So whoever wrote that press release was pulling that out of .....somewhere I would hope someone who is not in-tuned with lotto things wouldn't see those odds figures and be mislead about the top prize chances.

Hi MsBee18, for sure valid point in that $500 not being a life changer, so in the end boils down to whatever the buyer is looking for in a game. Hands down the Madness is best chance of turning $10 into $500 under decent odds, but yep that's where it ends. Odds aside I like the fact that the $500 prize level on the Madness is nearly 50% of total game payout...and is a refreshing add to the portfolio of scratch games that lately had seen higher and higher grand prizes with ever-higher odds. So th

Declining lottery sales prompt more Powerball jackpot changes
Well,I've been playing PB religiously for ages, mainly just hoping to hit $2 million second prize. The odds are less than half of my state's lotto game, and I was willing to spoon up $3 a ticket. The place I work is closed for the time being, so, I'm cutting way back on my lottery spending. No more PB. Back to Tx Lotto at a buck. Personally, I think PB and MM really need to at least go back to $1 a ticket. Especially at the odds the jackpots are. I know sales drives jackpots, but if people ar

What are the odds? -- Unusual set of 5/39 QPs (California Fantasy 5)
I picked up 5 lines of CA Fantasy 5 quick picks for someone who's been housebound for a while. (Too bad you can't buy them online here.) The first numbers of the lines were 1, 2, 3, 4 5, although not in that order. It's a choose 5 out of 39 game and the numbers in a line are printed out in increasing order, standard stuff. What are the odds of getting 5 quick picks like that?

Skeptic, a big thanks to you for this info! A game like this would sure seem like a breath of fresh air and no-doubt best odds ever of getting a $1M, not to mention hopefully nice mid-range prize odds as well. It's not a perfect comparison but I wonder if maybe the recent decent performance of the $10 Blowout showed there was a sizable demand for games with lower grand prize levels and not so astronomical odds for nice wins?? Either way I can't wait to hear more about this new game so th
