Odds of winning box on a Quick Pick?
Does anyone know what the odds are of winning box on a Quick Pick in the Pick 3 and Pick 4? I was thinking of adding 6/1000 (representing a single) and 3/1000 (representing a double) and that gives us about a 1 in 110 chance. In the Pick 4, adding 24/10000 (single), 12/10000 (double), 6/10000 (double double), 4/10000 (triple) which is rougly a 1 in 216 chance. I don't know if that is correct.

What are the bases of an algorithm for discovering patterns of a lottery
The odds of a digit repeating is 1 in 10, the odds of two digits repeating is 1 in 100 and the odds of all three digits repeating are exactly the same as any other three digit number being drawn, 1 in 1000. There are lots of examples where two digits repeat in the same digit position in every pick-3 and pick-4 games. Jerry and Marge Selbee saw the flaw in Michigan's version of Cash Winfall in 2003 and played and won more money in Massachusetts when the Michigan game ended. They didn't find a

The odds question
If your first 2 numbers change your overall odds will change as well. The second number will actually determine the odds (the way you described it). The bigger the second number the better the odds as the pool for the remaining 4 numbers is reduced. The logical conclusion seems that you should play more aggressively if the second number is large - as long as you are really certain of your first 2 numbers (and it's a big if). This does not apply if your first 2 numbers are always the same. Anyway

Winning
I play All or Nothing everyday. My attraction to this game, and to a lesser extent, Triple Chance is the overall odds. The odds to hit a jackpot are long, no doubt. However, my experience especially with AoN is that I often win back my $2, and sometimes more. Im playing a set of numbers, and the opposite set for a cost of $4. This morning I got my $4 back. Monday morning I won $50 x 2. With 2 Step, Lotto, MM,and PB, I almost NEVER win anything back. So, with a $4 bet on AoN, I'm playing for a

Why dont lotteries show the Day and Time the winning ticket was sold??
What do you mean if it's true?..lol...Of course it is. You're battling tens of millions to 1, that's a fact. That is the reality of the odds, not when and where you buy a ticket. Even if they told you that 70% QP wins are from 3-7 pm...so what? what does that prove?...There are countless millions of tickets being played, and even If you play during that time period 2 days before the draw between 3-7 pm, you're still playing against astronomical odds. The odds don't change in favor to you because

Pick Ten!
Welcome to Lottery Post! No, it is not fixed. With the odds/payout ratio, there is no need to fix anything. Take for example the matching 8 numbers. The odds are 1/7384 and the payout is $300. Check the odds vs payouts for the entire game and you will see the house always wins, thus no need to fix anything.

Georgia Gov. signs bill allowing lottery winners to remain anonymous
Don't be mad when the cheating gets worse and you were robbed of a legitimate chance of winning. 292 and 302 million to one odds for a jackpot win isn't much of a chance whether someone was to cheat or not. This is why many don't play until the jackpot hits 500 Mill or so. The attitude is, why spend $2 on a lousy 100 or 150 Mill? I'll save my money for when it gets really big. People win 1 million because the odds are only 11.6 and 12.6 million to one. Realistically this is probably what o
