Hmm. Odds for the $10m prize is bad, but I'm actually okay with it. They clearly allocated the funds from those two other $10m prizes, and decided to make the $1M prize easier to hit. I think that's a good decision. The odds of hitting $1M is 1 in 620,869.57. 1 in 621k makes the odds of hitting $1M decent for a game at this price point. I'd say it is worth playing, and we'll be seeing $1M wins pop quickly on this game.

Hi Mdc! Welcome to the LP community, it is great to see another FL Lottery player! In regards to scratchoffs vs draw games, I prefer scratchoffs. I think the odds of winning on scratchoffs games are much better, and there's lots of breaks built into them. The only draw game in Florida that I like is Fantasy 5 since it offers excellent odds of winning the top jackpot. Scratchers have the best odds of winning at least a million dollars. However, to buy one of those tix means dropping $20 or more. The price you pay for those better odds. So, for a measly buck, you have a shot at multiple millions, but now you must fight much, much higher odds. Pick your poison. LOL.

I thought it strange that Malaysia had gambling, but it turns out that Muslims are banned. I suspect the Chinese diaspora bankrolls the Malaysian gambling industry. The prize money is in Malaysian Ringgits not dollars. RM 30,000,000 is US $6.7m. It would appear that the games you are talking about require the picking of two four digit numbers. Odds would be 1 in 99,990,000 (10000 x 9999). If you are trying to win US $7m, your odds would be better playing 6 number draw games in the USA. Als

Here's a weird stat; Through 25 draws in January odd numbers drawn are +17 to evens. 71 odds drawn to 54 evens. That's so lopsided towards odds that sooner or later it's gotta start to balance out. I'd be playing more evens these days than odds. G5

The $20 and up tickets are your best bet at winning big, but also at losing big...*lol*. When I found my first $1000 winner on a $25 ticket, I went to the district office feeling all high and mighty. An older gentlemen came in, and cashed his winner on a $5 ticket. I look at the display screen when they scan the ticket, and see that he won $10,000 on a $5 ticket. How to pick games
Hey guys, I am wondering if you guys can help me out with trying to pick games... and figure out what I could be doing wrong. My state is Kentucky and I will go in and calculate the total number of winning tickets left and calculate the total prize money left, then I can find the average prize for a game. Then I can use the odds of winning to calculate the expected value of a lottery ticket bought. Right now the only game I see that has an expected value greater than the purchase price is Cash K

My state's lotto has rolled over 61 TIMES. The jackpot odds are more than 7x better than Powerball and costs half as much ($1). They have 6 plays for $5 now, too. Superlotto odds - 041.416 million Powerball odds - 292.201 million
