What games will you Play in 2017?
I didn't like MM when Ohio first introduced it because of the odds and haven't played PB much either. I'll buy $10 or $20 worth of tickets on both games when it looks like there is enough in sales to have an over 50% chance of winning but I won't get caught into buying tickets for every drawing. Only a very small percentage of players win those jackpots so realistically they are playing for the $1 million second prize.
For $5 a player could win $1 million with odds of 1,268,520 to 1 playing K

I agree with you that old games may not have better odds, with FL Lotto's record keeping the odds may in fact be worse than playing any mainstream new game.
I do think it is an intelligent practice to look up odds, and target specific book numbers. I know I sound like a hypocrite because I lucked out with that one nice win, but I do feel like overall the ambiguity with how open books are being returned/destroyed makes old games not worth it.
I would just love to see the end of $10 H

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
I like what Florida is doing on their website with regard to the odds for the Weekly Drawing Prizes.
They're showing estimated odds of 1 in 75,000 for the $10,000 prizes. In Pennsylvania, they don't do anything like that. There's no way of knowing how many tickets were sold for the weekly Early Bird drawings, so you cant tell what the odds are.
However, I will say that $10,000 seems a little thin compared to Pennsylvania. PA has three $50,000 winners for each Early Bird drawing. G5

San Francisco man defies odds; claims 2nd lottery jackpot
A lucky San Francisco man recently became a multi-millionaire after winning a top prize from a California Lottery ticket for the second time in a little over a year.
Frank Derfield, 53, is crediting stupid luck for winning $5 million from a Scratchers ticket he bought in September, just 14 months after he had already won $100,000 from a different winning ticket, according to lottery officials.
On Sept. 13, Derfield purchased a few 100X the Money Scratchers tickets at WC Liquor and Grocerie

Scratcher Tickets Poll
You cannot based your purchases off of a ticket being new or old. Scratch tickets are similar to playing black jack. Sometimes the winning tickets are mixed in randomly a the beginning of the printing sometimes spread evenly throughout and sometimes at the end of the deck. Overall odds simply tell you the chance of winning any prize at any point throughout the printing.
If you really want to increase your odds of winning a big prize, you have to track the odds of winning a top prize when the

Actually, the odds for the $250 prize appear to be pretty rough: 1 in 800. I agree that I'm pretty satisfied with the prize structure. Personally, I'd prefer if they dumped the $5M prize and added that to the $1M prize pool. That would make the $1M odds: 1 in 840,000.
As far as the old $20 games, some games such as the Billion Dollar Blockbuster had superior odds to any current $20 game, especially considering that it had a $1M prize and $10M prize. It is getting harder to compare the old $20

@MrGray - I'm with you all the way. If they cut out the $5M prizes, they could add 50 more $100k prizes or 10,000 more $500 prizes. The whole point of the Gold Rush games was for great odds at the $500 prize at the expense of the top tier prizes. I will be really disappointed if they do what they did with the $20 Monopoly and just copy and paste nearly identical odds from the $20 Flamingo game.
Speaking of the $20 Flamingo game, I received an instant liability report current as of today. The

lottery prediction systems, why do people spend so much time with them
When playing 12 numbers in 6/49 the odds of having all the winning numbers fall among any 12 are 1 in 15,134 while still harder to win then Pick-4, 1 in 15,134 is better then 1 in 13.9 million for a chance of winning something.
You know that even if you beat the 1 in 15,134 odds of having all of the winning numbers come from the 12 you chose from you'd still need to play 924 different combinations to guarantee that you had the winning combination instead of just having a set of numbers that

Best strategy to buy scratch cards?
Hello all, I'm new here to the forum and would like some advice and opinions from all you professional scratchers. I have a few questions here as to what is the best strategy on buying scratch cards. First, should I buy when all the top prizes are still available or when there is only one top prize left and the odds are better? I'm leaning towards the one top prize left since I'm more comfortable when the odds are better, the ratio between the lower prizes claimed and total prizes printed is clo
