I don't play PB!!! Why should I pay $2 to win a million, when I can pay $1 to win a million! Thats a cost savings of 50%!
Odds of winning a million dollar$ with a $2 PB ticket = 1:5,153,633
Odds of winning a million dollar$ with a $1 MM ticket = 1:18,492,204
No matter which ticket you buy your odds of winning per dollar$ spent are closer than you think. Facts are PB is considering changing its matrix size to put its cost more in line with MM.

New York instant scratch off tickets - new tickets with less odds to win
I made calculations in Excel. The payout of $10 Bingo Rainbow is 60.5%
The only good thing about this game is that top prize odds are 1 in 1M which is better than other $10 games with top prize odds 1 in 4M
5. About cash king. Bugagaga the odds of winning $300 is 1 in 17K. Lol I don't even want to commend it.
I think they should release more games like Lucky 7's Playbook, but with better overall payouts around like 75%

If You Live Long Enough ... Good Chance You Will Win !
I play the 6/49 game type for the better odds over MM and PB ... so in my head I think I have a shot at some decent money with that strategy ... but change the odds to years and it starts to sink in better.
The odds of winning a jackpot in a 6/49 game has always been 1:13,983,816 which have always meant players could buy tickets over several life times and never win a jackpot. Such games going months and some times a year without a winner just drives that point home. Any one thinking their tu

How many tickets do you need to win the Lottery?
It's not about worrying about not winning but knowing what one should expect to win by purchasing more tickets and then decide how many tickets are necessary. Buying 15 MM tickets can guarantee one of those tickets wins if all 15 bonus numbers are used and the odds of one ticket winning the $50 prize is now slightly better at 766 to 1. The odds of winning the jackpot is now a much better 18,492,204 to 1.
While it's true it only took one ticket to win the last MM jackpot, it was one out 47,993

Mega Millons or Powerball or Uberball
You obviously haven't looked at the odds of winning a million dollars in each game. For a $2 PB ticket they are 1:5,138,133 and for a $1 MM ticket they are 1:18,492,204.
What you should be asking : Is buying a $2 ticket with odds of 1:5M of winning $1M a better deal than buying two $1 tickets with odds 1:9.2M of winning $1M?
I gave my answer in another thread to the same question. You might be surprised why players think one or the other is the better deal.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Happy Birthday !
You talk about 1:402 odds - the lottery told me that means if ALL the tickets are printed and out there then there should be a winner every 1:402 tickets across the board.......................not to say if I bought 4.02 tickets there would be a winner.
Those odds deceive people - look hon all I have to buy is 3 tickets and I'll win $500
Write the lottery and ask them what the odds of numbers means - see what they tell you.

Second Chance Drawings from the Lottery- Beating the Odds
I have a close friend who joined the drawings for a second chance in the California lottery. The first time was a promotion where you sent in three losing scratchers and they drew people to go on the Big Spin tv show. She went up to Sacramento (where it was filmed in those days) and she spun the wheel and won $10,000. She then started entering online for the Fantasy Five second chance drawing. Nearly ten years to the day she was drawn again (both in the month of August) and this time she played

Can you pin-point just one digit, good for any position, two times out of three?
I have no problems with verifying by using software and by using mathematics. In so far, you can say that I have that answer. It is not about odds, it is about net payout.
The point is to win the game beating the odds by more than twice and the simplest of all approaches is to guess a number correctly. It does require high skill of play, so it is to be worked out.
A pair is a boxed combination of two numbers. A pair can also be a straight pair. Which one is it? You still must beat the odds

Standing in line ready to purchase a lottery ticket and overhead... .
Is there something wrong with the way I'm doing my calculation? (I ask that because I see that your math is correct.) Thanks! I appreciate your input.
No there isn't, you just didn't read my post correct. I posted at 3700 drawings the odds of a repeat are 1:155 and at the beginning the odds were 1:575757 or 0 since you can't have a repeat until after the first drawing. If you took the average of 0 and 3700 or 1850 and calculated for that many drawings the odds of a repeat are 1:311.(not 377

Cash 4 Life Coming to PA. For current players in Other States, this is Bad!
Some of the people posting on LP have difficulties understanding odds of 22 million to 1 or comparing odds of 7,282,016 to 1 of winning $50,000 a year to the odds of 5,153,633 to 1 of winning $1 million playing PB.
I found nothing in the game rules indicating the top prizes are lower if there are multiple winners.
