How Much Money Do You Spend Playing the Lottery in a Week?
The bottom line is that If you don't have ALL the correct numbers, you won't win a JP. What happens outside those perimeters has no bearing on the odds. They never change. World War Three could commence during tonight's PB drawing. The odds against you winning will stay the same. Or, 3 billion people decided to play tonight's PB game in the past 2 days. The odds against you winning will stay the same. There may be more winners splitting the JP, but even this has no bearing on the 175 milli

Georgia's new $30 lottery tickets selling 'like crazy'
Lottery players are lining up to lay down some serious scratch in Georgia and Tennessee, which recently joined a number of states offering instant tickets that cost more than $25 apiece. People are buying them like crazy, Tessa Mize, a clerk at the Mega Star gas station in Rossville on Chickamauga Avenue, said of the $30 scratch-off ticket that the Georgia Lottery introduced last week. It has a $10 million grand prize. Meanwhile, Tennessee Lottery officials are happy with sales of a $25 i

Would You By A System For 10.95$ That Really Works
Why this approach should be winning? Nothing is certain in a random event, but this approach puts me in the 'drivers seat', I know where I am , hence I can create my odds, devoid of many conditional parameters. See, parameters like sums, roots, even,odd.. etc are mostly conditional indicators or filters, my approach is to minimize those conditions. I have tested it countless times and the hit ratio is over 50 %, this creates and increases the degree of confidence to bet say $5, $10 str on two

Billion dollar lottery in March
Yes, that's true. Forbes misquoted the odds as 1 in 4 trillion something. They got that number from someone else who got it wrong. I read the article you linked but nowhere does it specifically name the odds you posted. It vaguely mentions 67 games which in itself is deceptive. The NCAA tournament starts with 68 teams, but the brackets only contain 64 teams (The First Four round determines which 4 teams are eliminated; this sets the bracket for the tournament). So there are 63 official tourna

Do you have specific plans as to what you will be doing after your PB/MM win?
No one has EVER disputed that fact- my point is people already KNOW that the odds are way up there, no one needs to be reminded of that on a constantly basis, even you must see that. Perhaps you have noticed that the odds are printed on the back of the slip, and not the front, but that does not stop people from playing. The whole idea of the lottery is to get people to hand over their money, no one interviews the losers, and with good reason. My point is: l doubt Todd established this forum f

Winning Jackpot numbers showing up again and again...
I had resolved to play cash 5 games for at least the first few months of 2014 and see how it goes for me. Onlymoney's fictitious numbers did excite I but had nothing to do with my intention to try out Cash 5 games. I even have a thread on Pick 5 forums on my Cash 5 experience. KY Floyd I don't see where I might have suggested 5/39 6/49 games have similar odds. One has odds of about 1:570000 and the other 1:13M odds of hitting the top prize.

Wondering if I should go back to buying scratchers?
Hi everyone, I've mentioned many times how I've cut way back on my lottery spending and have just been playing the draw games like Mass Cash, MM, and Powerball. When I go to my state lottery website it seems that the people who win 1 million (well it's always less if you take the lump sum) tend to win them on the scratch tickets. There will occasionally be someone who will win 2nd prize on the PB and MM. Since the odds of winning a million are far less than the odds of winning 2nd place in PB

Poll: Does it make sense to play
The only odds that matter are the odds of having a jackpot winning ticket on Tuesday and that depends on the sales. Friday's sales total ($175 million) was the fifth largest in MM history and it's possible because of the matrix change less than 50% of the combinations were sold. If Tuesday's sales get close to the record ($651 million), there should be enough combos sold to produce at least one winner. The sales were less than the 3/30/2012 jackpot run on the $100 million plus jackpots and ma

Just bought MM quickpick, not knowing odds got even more absurd
Yes the odds are high. Buy ONE ticket. You are in the game. Risk is $1. You spend more than that on cigs, booze, pot, dope, whatever else. BTW, the odds on Texas Lotto are 1 in 25,827,165. It's just as hard to hit that baby as the other games. Even the Cash 5 game is hard to hit. So, don't get so uptight about the odds. ALL the games are hard to hit, and you very most likely are going to spend more than you win. Just have fun with it.

$425 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot raised on huge sales
Daniel Levine, a professor of psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington, said people often make decisions in terms of what's possible rather than what's probable. They're drawn to the fact that there is a chance that they'll win, and they're not thinking about the numbers, he said. Our decisions don't always fall into a rational model. Really??? No crap Sherlock!!! Why would anyone pay attention to the numbers (odds)??? People should approach this simply like this.... i'll
