State Raffles
I bought 1 raffle ticket for the Idaho raffle and didn't win anything. The raffle ticket 3 numbers higher than mine was a winner for $100. Guess I should have let that little old lady cut in front of me so as to delay my purchase. Jimmy

the BIG ONE>the FAT ONE>>El Gordo?
Do we need National Lottery ND USA? Psyko do you mean National Raffle? I say YES! A true nationwide raffle with fixed number of tickets would be a great national treat especially if it's drawn two weeks before Christmas. I love raffles especially PA Millionaire Raffle

7 state lotteries join forces for multi-state raffle
Oh heck no jerseys in it......ill pass. I can't even win anything in our one state raffle. Why would a multi state raffle be more appealing. Just becuase this is something new doesn't mean its any better then the other wasteful games the lottery has. Its just another way to get a buck from people. How about they have a multi state free raffle......lol...I'm down for that. And for all that play they should issue you a free I'm stupid bumper sticker that goes on your forehead.

PB or MM- Get rid of lower tier prizes in favor of larger top tiers (1-3)?
The game you seem to wish for is like a national raffle that several people here at LP have proposed over time. It would be great if there was a giant raffle where they would sell maybe 100M tickets at $1 each and then the raffle would be drawn and mint out 50 winners getting $1M each. The odds to win $1M would be 1:2,000,000 under this scenario. Those are terrific odds. Maybe do the drawing every 1'st of the month. I most definately would play that.

$1 million Raffle ticket was being used as a Christmas ornament
Idaho Lottery officials say the Nampa man who held the winning $1 million Raffle ticket was using it as an ornament on the family Christmas tree. Mark Rossiter came forward to claim his big prize in Boise today. Rossiter purchased the ticket at the Maverik store in Star on Nov. 28, 2012, then took it home in its orange envelope and placed on the tree's branches. The envelope containing the winning Raffle number of 108847 was worth $1 million after the Jan. 2, 2013 drawing. However, it s

Why can't Massachusetts have the exact same lottery raffle they had last year?
Hi Genome, Thanks for clarifying how last years raffle was. I had forgotten that there were 20 prizes of 50,000. I have just bought one ticket for this raffle because their is nothing for me to get excited about. It's hard enough to win any kind of a lottery jackpot but by making the lottery raffle much worse this year it's depressing. Did you end up winning anything with your 7 tickets you bought for it last year?

Illinois Lottery New Draw Game & Oct. Raffle
Saw on Twitter the Illinois Lottery will be having a new draw game debuting next week and more details will come out later in the week! Anyone know anything? I also contacted them about the October Halloween Millionaire raffle and they said they are having it this year. Last year they made a bad money losing decision by not having it.

$2 Powerball Promotion
I went into Virginia today and while I was there I got a couple Powerball tickets so I could get the free raffle tickets. There's one prize of $100,000 and 400 prizes of $250 which is a lot smaller than their usual raffle prizes but it's probably to account for all the free ones and the fact that the cost if you want to buy a raffle ticket is only a buck.
