Do some number combinations have better odds?
That brings us right back to the original question. Each 14 number group has 10 four number matches (when four of the numbers are drawn) so each group should average 1 four number match every 17 drawings. While I didn't play the same 14 numbers each drawing, the 14 numbers I played on average matched four numbers once out of every ten drawings. Because we know some groups of numbers HAD better odds in the past we can conclude there are groups that will have better odds in the future. Since

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Ok, and that is all understandable. But what do you do with a guy like me who comes alone and shows you a list of 100,000 lines that wins 5 out of 5 in two draws? That's is 1 in 200,000 odds. And lets just say for discussion that it took 20 draws to hit 5 out of 5 that would still only be 1 in 2,000,000 odds as opposed to the 1 in 4,000,000 odds that you say cant be improved upon.

What are the chances of ever winning the 2nd place prize for PB or MM?
I didn't say the odds on the charts were INCORRECT, I said who knows how they figure them . Actuall the odds are calculated the only way that makes sense. First, the total number of possible combinations is calculated, then the number of winning combinations for each level are calculated and to get the odds of winning at each level, the numbers of winning combinations at each level are divided by the number of possible combinations. possible combos of 5/59 + 1/35 numbers = 175223510

What are the chances of ever winning the 2nd place prize for PB or MM?
I didn't say the odds on the charts were INCORRECT, I said who knows how they figure them . The odds of matching the five white balls ONLY are 5,153,633 to 1, because you have to multiply the total number of white ball combinations by 35/34, as the odds of NOT hitting the bonus ball are 34/35. If you multiple 5,006,386 (the number of combos in a 5/59 matrix) by 35/34 you get 5,153,633. That I understand, but how do they get the figure 1 in 55?

Stressed
You're not going to find another game with a $50,000 payoff by only betting a buck with odds against winning at 99,999 to 1. The Pick-3 and Systems Forums have many methods and systems based on missing one of the digits, but they all include betting considerably more than a buck to win the same $500 prize. They can only win $160 or $80 on some those extra $1 bets and they can still miss the extra bets by one digit. If you're only betting $1 straight on a Quinto number, the odds against winnin

Post Your IL Lucky Day Lotto EZmatch Results Here!
Not sure how frequent it is for someone to win $100 but think it's not common. I wonder exactly how they determine the odds on sometghing like EZmatch. The Illinois Lottery website says the odds on the Casino Crossword are 1 in 3.93, which is relatively on the low end of scrathcer odds for $1 to $3 games, but for us it seems breaking even on crossword (or bingo) scratchers 9is about the best we've done, and not often. Seems like there's big winners on them over in Missouri though.

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
Anyone who takes road trips to play powerball must have rocks in their head. No offense rad, but your kidding right?? Do you comprehend that you could play 1000 lines per draw and still be at 4000 to 1 odds? Most people cant pick a winner in a horse race where 1/3 of the 12 horses are better than all the others. lol. We are talking 4 to 1 odds here and you are driving the county side chasing after 4000 to 1 odds? Im embarrassed to say I went down to QT and offered up a $10. sacrifice.

compterized fraud
1.) You're dyslexic. The odds are 1 in 1,631,312, not 1 in 1,621,213. 2.) Your math is wrong. Lottery odds are calculated by the number of possible combinations, not permutations or anything else. Wisconsin's SuperCash game is a 6/39, so there are 3,262,623 different 6-number combinations you can pick using the numbers 1 to 39. The 1:1,631,312 odds come from the fact that your $1 gets you two plays. (3,262,623 divided by 2, rounded to the nearest whole number, is 1,631,312.) 3.) Speaking o

Why Play Pwerball or Mega-Millions ?? Play you're States games !!
The only games I play are the 3-ball/4-ball numbers games because I feel strongly that lower tier prize winners get ripped off. For example, Mega Millions 4+0, odds 1 in 15,313, prize $150. The odds are greater than an exact match in the Pick-4, but the payout is less than that of a 3-way box match in the Pick-3. I feel that that is completely unacceptable. I feel that the payout for a Mega-Millions 4+0 match should be closer to $7500. I will not play Powerball or Mega Millions except unde

Post your scratch ticket results
The odds that are posted on the tickets are nothing more than assurances to the people who believe they can win if they just one more. The only odds you need to worry about are the odds of the roll of tickets being a dud or not. That being said, I bought 5 $2 tickets. Three of them were winners for $2 a piece.
