Psst! Wanna Know A Secret? California Cores for F5 :)
While on a research kick, I thought I'd share some info for California Fantasy 5 Players. Before I begin...jackpot players from all states....do you know what the Hottest Number is in your game? No? Well, why not?? A simple search here on the LP can help you determine it. With just ONE KEY Number you can drastically reduce your odds. Newbies...take note. In California's 5/39 game your odds of winning that jackpot are 1:575,757. Playing ONE KEY Number all of the time (and why not use t

What happened to Lotto Hideout?
Thanks, that is informative, I have always wondered what some of the Georgia codes meant, but above $20 there is no discernible pattern, even on http://www.scratchoffcodes.com, assuming that is the site you are referring to. What I am actually looking for is a site that gives you the odds of winning X prize on X ticket. Here is another example of a single ticket, Giant Jumbo Bucks. It is giving the reader the odds of winning a certain prize for that game. Here I can see that there is not a very

I Love New York September
Let's do the math! What are the odds of 300,003 and 003 coming in in the same drawing, EXACTLY 6 days apart? Simple! first one is boxed, so roughly (according to the Lotteries odds themselves, a boxed double number hit is about 330:1), Ok, and straight it is 1000:1 right? Well since this is EXACTLY on the DAY it is: 330 times 1000 times 1000! Wish I had a penny for every one! 330 Million to one folks. That's THE ODDS! Straight up! Fact!

7-11 scratcher odds (CA lotto)
I don't know if this is a question or what, exactly... Basically, I am proposing that my local (or possibly all) 7-11 stores have less winners than other places with scratchers. Seems unlikely, right? Well I've suspected it for a while, and last night/today made me decide to never buy scratchers from 7-11 again.. Could be bad luck, but here's what happened: I typically buy my scratchers from a liquor store near my house. I'm cool with the owner, so I like to give him business (vs the 7-11

$41.2M Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot largest in country again
I think most people play scratchers and Pic 3 more so than jackpot games. The odds are just so high in the big games that people wait until a jackpot is huge. For me though, when I look at the odds on a scratcher, they are usually 1 in a million for the top prize, which might be 20K or maybe 50K. That's a turn off for me right there. I can play $5 straight on Pick 4 and have a chance at 25K with odds of 10,000 to 1. The only downside to that is you either win or lose, where scratchers do pay

Mathematics and the Lottery
Why would you eliminate it? Just because it happened doesn't make it less likely to happen again. My point was previous results can be used as a starting point. I was talking about the next three outcomes and since there are 8 possible outcomes, the odds against 3 heads being the results are 7 - 1. By knowing 3 heads were the results of the three previous outcomes, the odds against six consecutive heads are 63 to 1. The 0 tails was a typo and should have been 3 tails. The odds against 3

Post your scratch ticket results
Hey Rizz - I have absolutely no idea how and if the odds work on scratchers.. The one guy I know here won $500K on the GR when there was one win left. He and wife have their pic on the Lottery site !! He bought 5 tickets ! I did real good on FMC as mentioned - but only back in April. When a few hot rolls popped up. Your thoughts on FMC vs GRT odds does make some sense. But without KNOWING how many prizes (lower tier) were issued and left to win - IMO the odds mean nothing. I wrote the Fl Lot twi

Has anyone given you a dirty look because you are gambling?
Dirty looks, no, but occassionally no matter which game someone will say, Do you know the odds on that? . When they say that, I just look on the back of the ticket and tell them the exact odds and thebn ask them, Did you know the odds? I haven't got a response yet.
