TTT- an old one but still plenty of hits amonth
I think its all about improving the Odds. Lets Say you Play all The first Digits from 0 to 9. Your chances are no longer 1/1000 but 1/100 because you just played all first Digits. Now what I have been trying to figure out is a way to lower the odds even more. Possibly by Filtering unmatched for Example. Its a known fact in all lotteries that unmatched Numbers will be drawn 70% of the time. I believe this is the only way to truly improve your odds. If your just going to play 1 or 2 dollars Jus

Do NOT buy SC scratchers !!
Yeah what are you talking about exactly? are you saying they sell scratchoff's at Arnolds Cleaners, Master Cleaners, Carriage, etc? It seems to me any state can start pulling back on large scratchers any time they want and still legally keep the 'odds' on the back of the card. at least with states like SC they display the odds much better on the cards than say TN which gives Overall odds ONLY

Interesting result from Kelly's Criterion
At how I'm a little surprised at how large a value the equation came up with and it's all from the subsidiary prizes which means no matter how high the jackpot gets, even if it's enough to get the expected return above parity which seems to be the decision point for most people to jump in big time on the lottery, the subsidiary prize structure is so heavily biased against the player that you still can't win in the long run because you can never have enough capital to wait for the big hit. I was

Artificial Intelligence
The point I was trying to make, which I think you are missing, is that there are leading indicators in the stock markets, things such as earlier results of foreign markets in different time zones, volume considerations, and the provable persistance of trends, all of which give Neural Networks a possible edge. However, when it comes to ping pong balls bouncing randomly in response to air currents, there is NO WAY to predict which one will emerge when the release button is pushed. Unless there is

Does buying a whole roll of scrachers work?
Only if you are buying a book for entertainment purposes. If I buy a book I try to pick the tickets with the best payouts. (i.e. $10 and $20 tickets) I don't expect to win my money back, again entertainment purposes... However, a little bit a knowledge will go a long way. Don't be afraid to do research on complete odds for prizes. For example, in Florida I play the $20 Gold Rush tickets. The overall odds suggest a $50 or $100 winner in every pack. And $500 prize of 1:175... That beats out all ot

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Sounds like you are the one trying to SPIN things with no logical explanation. You never answered my question about the kinds of odds you thought were fair to parley a $1 bet into a potential $260M jackpot. The fact that you aren't likely to win the jackpot doesn't make the game a scam and it's not a logical opinion. Every one can look at the back of any PB play slip and the odds of winning the jackpot are there, 1:195,249,054. That sounds logical to me for the size jackpot they're trying to

A few quick questions from someone new
Say you have $10. Would you rather spend it on 2 $5 tickets with the odds 1:3.4 , 5 $2 tickets with the odds 1:4.21 or 10 $1 tickets with the odds at 4.69 and there are more unclaimed top prizes for the $5 tickets. *Edit: I've also already bought 4 of those $5 tickets today and won on two tickets for a total of $25. Is it possibly a hot stack? How do you find out the minimum guranteed prize values in a pack? Thanks for your help!

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
You said: Now for the mathmen, 6 digits in a 5/39 lottery can yield over 6000 combos depending on the 6 digits selected. Done that! been there. I don t need your brain power to tell me what I already know. I don't want any odds quoted concerning this. Believe me I have ran every combo of digits in every way conceivable. At one time I was running 4, really fast, striped down computers 24/7/365 crunching numbers my own version of a home super. I will give those that wish to ba

If you Ever Come out with a system that Cracks Powerball with 1 Ticket: Rules of Engagement..
Last time i checked: you never reduce the odds, they stay the same on every each draw for any lottery game. Its a classic and common mistake to believe that you know some event will occur or not occur based on past results. Why would that be? Every ball is just as likely to show up each time. It is very apparent that most people on this site dont have much knowledge about mathematics or probability or statistics. They are simply desperate to win some jackpot. Numbers don't mean much, they just a
