How to Beat Powerball: And drastically reduce the odds (theory)...
I am trying to refine this system to see if it will be perfect..I can't post it right now...Also i am busy trying to lose some weight and that takes time away from me, it only gives me time at night to log on to LP....Predictions take a lot of time from someone...Also i will not be predicting numbers but this is how my prediction is going to go....I ll tell you for the nex draw or two whether is going to be 3 evens and 2 odds or 2 odds and 3 evens or 4 odds and 1 even, i'll tell you what positio

Mega Winners In Lotto
That's the point I've trying to make. Lacie thought states should create a game that would have several winners and award them all $1M each and I've been saying there no way to create a game with odds of that happening that would generate enough sales to make those kinds of payouts.
If you know how many tickets you can sell then you can set the odds of the game such that a number of winners will likely exists. States know they're likely to have about twelve Pick3 winners daily with odds of

What does the odds of winning MM/PB mean to you?
I agree with Raven. Luck, luck, and more luck! Maybe there is a pattern to a pick-3 or pick-4 game, but when the odds are over 1 in 100 million, it has to be luck. That being said, maybe just being in the right place at the right time is a better term since obviously Jack Whittaker and other winners haven't been very lucky.
I wrote on another thread today that the current USA population is estimated to be 301 million. So when you think of that, imagine what the odds of a single person

how often do you play powerball/mega millions in your state?
I agree...MegaMillions outsells IL 6/49 lotto by far.
Your response is exactly why I consider it a sucker game. It's appealing to people who want to win their buck back at 30/1 odds.
The average player doesn't pay any attention to odds-to-payout ratios and gleefully buys scratch-off tickets that offer a grand prize of $10,000 with odds of 2 million/1 of hitting it just because they have a 4/1 chance of getting a free ticket.

incredible story
Did you see the seals eating the penguins on Discovery? Talk about odds. When they first documented it, and then filmed it, that must have freaked them out. One would never think that these two seemingly non competitive species would be at such odds is surprising. I would have bet against this happening. But, I believe that overfishing by european, scandanavian, russian, south american, japanese, canadian, mexican, african, and central american fishing fleets is the root cause of this pred

Michigan Lottery to debut $50 'Super Raffle' tickets
It will be interesting to see if the market is there. I am sure they will sell them but I wonder how long it will take. But the odds are better, I mean 1 in 50. I can't believe they are actually paying more than 50% out. That was a shocker to me.
In Mass though the odds of winning are ridiculous. I believe they are like 1 in 7000 or something like that. I could go for the better odds on raffles then bigger prizes.

Odds of one position correct is 1 in 10
Odds of two positions corrrect is 1 in 100
Odds of three positions correct is 1 in 1000
If only you could tell which two positions are correct.

Need Help With GH Program
I used Lotto Sorcerer to analyze Ohio Rolling Cash5 with over 700 drawings. It divided all 39 numbers into three groups of hot numbers, cold numbers and non-hot/non-cold numbers and suggested picking numbers from all three groups in combinations I played.
I had expected its neural network logic to improve my odds by reducing the pool of numbers but it suggested my odds of winning would improve 46% by using all 39 numbers distributed in the combinations I played using the suggested ratio of n

Are there Vtracs for pick 5/6 games?
On a Pick 3, VTRACs gives you an alternate # in each position giving you 2x2x2=8 combinations for STR. If you play 8 tickets instead of 1 your odds go up 8-fold but your cost goes up 8-fold. VTRACs on anything are only meaningful if including them would produce a higher PROFIT, that is, if not playing VTRAC you match 1 in 1000 drawings STR but with VTRAC it would be 9+ out of 1000 (vs. 8 of 1000) then it's at least beating the odds by including it vs. not considering it. I don't know the scienti
