Lottery Cheats Ruin Players' Chances
Gambling is a gamble right ?All gambling has bad odds, some worse than others. If the odds are so bad, why would I think that I can win ?Why would I play a game that I know that I have no chance of winning ?Why do people think that they are the ones that will win ?There is no way for everybody to win, so it is ilogical to think that you have to be the one.You will be the one for sure along with most everybody else to lose. At least most of the time or more often than not.Who is a person to blame

Are Secrets Really Worth Keeping?
For games without a Jackpot (such as Pick 3, Pick 4, Keno etc.) there is also a system known as the Martingale System. It works like this:1. Save up as much money as you can.If you play $5 per day, you will have to not play for 7 months or cut back to $1 per day for about 9 months in order to save the $1,023 you need to even have a shot at this.2. Select a number to wager on with minimal return and maximum odds. Example: Keno Pick 1 with 1 in 4 odds and 2 x wager prize.3. Use the minimum wager

'Beyond lucky': Woman wins same $1M lottery jackpot twice in 6 months
A woman who won $1 million playing a Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket earlier this year won another million on the same game Thursday.Donna Goeppert, 55, of Bethlehem said it was just unbelievable after filing her claim Friday at lottery headquarters. What are the odds of that? she asked. The odds of winning just once are 1.44 million-to-1, according to the lottery. Lehigh University engineering professor Bob Storer placed the odds of winning twice after buying 100 tickets at 419 milli

Are Secrets Really Worth Keeping?
RJOH,I guess it would depend upon what one defines as an affordable cost . To me, I've seen enough people trying to wheel 100 combos at 100 bucks a draw. And really, that 100 combos doesn't change the odds on a major jackpot game any. It's a drop in the bucket when the odds of hitting the jackpot are over 100 million to one. To me, personally, games with odds that high are never worth more than a 5 buck ticket. There are just too many combinations possible. Winning a major jackpot game like t

Why play the lottery??
I am new to this forum. I am questioning myself lately as to why should I play the lottery at all. I mean for the most part the odds are so long that I will most likely not win. But with that being said, I will be playing $5.00 each on tonights PowerBall and Badger5. If I win the B5 it would be enough to wipe out all my debt and enough to start a brighter future and if I won the PB, well that would definately set me for life, I would take care of alot of people too. I guess the reason I w

New Pb MM odds of winning
It currently takes approximately a run of 11 draws to get to $100,000,000.00 for both games without any wins. One of the things I m curious about with both games new odds is will it take longer to get to the $100M level of the games? I live in Florida so that is the minimum level for us to take a road trip. It s been my unscientific observation that both P.B. and MEGA don t seem to attract extreme attention until that level.I realize that both games are increasing the starting amounts after a ja

Beginning pick 3 filters tutorial for all
I use a number of filters with all of my Pick 3 and Pick 4 picks.Back to the filter for Low/Medium/High. Since there are 6 possibilities, it only makes sense that you could filter out the same exact distribution as the last draw. The odds of it hitting again are 1:6, so eliminating the last draw would leave 5. Not a major filter, but certainly could be used for picking straights. I don't see it having a purpose when trying for box wins. I have found that most filters people use are used be

Perhaps John Demaria's next lottery prize will be a garage. The 71-year-old Elyria, Ohio resident won a 2004 Cadillac Escalade with an instant lottery ticket in 2003. Tuesday, he turned in a winning ticket for a 2005 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster motorcycle. Those prizes come on top of $3,700 he has won playing Pick 4 and the kicker on Super Lotto tickets. With more than 40 instant games to choose from, it's common for people to win more than once, lottery spokeswoman Karen Russo said. But Demaria

Powerball Lottery States Vote to Change Game
four4me is correct. As I have already stated in this post, last year the current Powerball odds produced 5 winners over $100million dollars and 2 of them were over $200million. What he did not point out is the fact that adding the state of California would not reduce the jackpot size, in fact it would simply cause the jackpot to grow that much faster. The only things that can reduce the jackpot sizes are 1) caps on the growth after a draw [I understand the current cap has never been broken]
