120 (6 way) Quads Chart
Looks like odds and evens are separated and highs and lows. Used for trapping. ie: some people see a 1 in 2 dvent occur 7 days, 5 days, 6 days, etc. in a row. Lets say the following 7 combos are drawn:1) 5342) 9143) 0914) 1835) 2756) 3927) 671Now you see, the (almost) 1 in 2 dvent that occured 7 times in a row was the Odd Odd Even sequence. That was a little less than 1 in 128 dvent that occured. If it were actually fifty fifty then it would be a 1 in 128. The reason why I say it's less than

PREDICTIONS: Need your feedback

With 100 lines in a Pick-6/49 game playing all the numbers I can get about 95% coverage of a 3if6 guarantee and that's before arranging the numbers within the combinations to eliminate unlikely draws. With 163 lines I can 100% guarantee at least a 3# prize every time. Ken Silver's system takes 120 lines according to the a

If you can consistently get better than the published odds then you're successful in my opinion ie you've beat the odds. BobP's 164 lines satisfy that criteria. I call them BobP's lines but as he points out that approach apparently started with Gail Howard.

Buying more tickets = reduced odds
Quote: Originally posted by Colin F on May 07, 2004I don't plan to hit the big one. I'm concerned about increasing the 3's, 4's and 5's wins in for example a 6/49 Lotto for a given number of tickets... For the best systems it hinges on getting the 5's up more consistently and often. For the realists amongst us that is the challenge and enjoyment. The crunch is if there was a contest of 5 x 500 draw runs and the winner was the one who made the most dollars from the 3's, 4's and 5's then with you

Buying more tickets = reduced odds
This has been a very interesting discusion. One problem I see is that in discussing the odds, the idea of whether or not one should even buy that many tickets is also presented. That only confuses the issue and is not germain to the discussion. For example, it has been stated that if one buys 500 unique pick 3 tickets, then the odds of winning is 1 in 2 (or 50%). But then, the responses deal with the question of whether it is wise to buy 500 tickets. That is not the point of this thread.I have als

Buying more tickets = reduced odds

If an army has 10,000 guys and you have 1,000 how many must each of your men cover? Same with lottey tickets, each unique ticket covers a range of possibilities spliting the field among them for coverage. Pick 3 System That Gaurantees a Hit
QWEST46That's not exactly what I would use either, first because you want to also include doubles and triples, because you want to win as often as possible and second, because I would and do preffer to win straight instead of box or anyorder, but to help people who don't have any system or method that wins often enough or at all, it's a good start and it's better than just winning twice a week as with kzdj's method whatever that is.The 120 pick3 basic anyorder numbers are the same as the 720 sin

Predictions - Are You Serious ?
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on May 02, 2004At the moment just before the first white ball is drawn you will have in the non-repeating set, a probability of 10 in 53 of having one number in either ticket. In the second set, sharing one number, you will have a probability of only 9 in 53 of having one number in either ticket. This means that you have an 18.9% of remaining in the game in the first case, and a 17.0% chance of remaining in the game in the second case. Clearly, before the f
