Michigan's Winfall
I just saw an in store ad of Michigan's new game. Tickets go on sale January 19th. It replaces Michigan Millions after that game had a life span of less than 2 years (or was is one) and seen only about 3 or 4 jackpot winners. The game hasn't been won since summer and it is only at 23 million. Well anyway they moved it back to 6/49. Same as the old Michigan Lotto. Match 5 you get 2500 match 4 you get 100 and a new thing is match three and get 5 dollars. This will stay this way until the ja

Florida please
If you play doubles you have to love this.Of the last 9 doubles FL has had they have all been even no.#00 44 00 88 44 00 88 00 00 These doubles are a 50/50 odds each time(we know)...but the probability of a 10th even double showing in a row are over 90% against. Where do you go to place a straight up bet in Vegas against this passing ? Are we wrong ? Anybody? People confuse odds and probability...........we know a coin toss is 50/50 odds each time .......but the probabilty of 30 heads in a row

Hi FolksGuess you may be looking for some new blood here to maybe contribute some ideas. Maybe I can share some of the observations I have made.I live in New York, so the game I play is the Take 5 (3/39) drawing. I have been keeping track of this game for the last 10 years. My database of winning combinations is just short of 1500 winners.RJOH, I was looking at your 10/28/02 post with the list of 269 combinations, concentrating on non repeat of a 3 number duplication. Your rate of return was

Lottery Trends
Lottery Trends 1) Lets begin by trying to pick the first number correct by eliminating other numbers and narrowing your choices (1-9). Take a look at the last three drawing results for the lottery your playing. TREND: Rarely do the same numbers repeat the next week. So eliminate these numbers. Consequently, you now have reduced your choices of numbers by 3.2) Selecting the remaining numbers are random, but you can help increase your odds by considering the following trend.TREND: In the majority

Randomness and Lotto Math ;)
Hey guyz...dont want to take away focus from lotto play, just wanted to clear this up...In extremely controlled environments, Lottery ball behaviour has already been analysed. It was used as a model to equate randomness theorems for use in deep space probe technology. The minutest details from lottery pipe distance to the ball nearest the vent etc. on the Merlin Lotto Machine (UK Lottery) was taken into account. Maybe you should loose the sunglasses and grow a few brain cells. Adam's location is easy enough to confirm.
Rj's system fail was not from using to few numbers, IMHO. Not putting him down, just the method he was using.
He seems to have gave up and jumped on the jimbozo train of thought.
OK, now with that said, lets dig into the many reasons that playing a subset is a good idea. Example, lets say that
two people decide to play the lottery. P-1 randomly selects 5 numbers from a list
