NewYork's New Raffle to Riches Limited time lottery!!
.............actually after that catastrophic King Kong automated raffle lottery a few years ago, I'm skeptical on a computer picked anything again coming out of NYS. I ocassionally play quick picks lotto, MM and take5 and I have won NOTHING, now here's this big hype to sell for a limited time only a limited 1.5million tickets, for brace yourselves - 20 Dollars!................ Now 20 dollars is 5 MM 5 Lotto 5Take5 for a couple of days with change back. Computer picked numbers for a whopping

Weekly Raffle
I hadn't thought about that actually. It would probably only work in the larger states. Delaware and Maryland are having difficulties selling all of their raffle tickets. Pennsylvania also had some problems with it this year because 3 of the bordering states offered raffles. I am unaware of the status of New Jersey's. For the smaller states it might have to be a multi-state raffle. For example, I could see a Northeast Corridor raffle encompassing the small states of RI, CT, DE, and DC, all of

New Delaware Promotion
He's got a point. A raffle is a much different and a much less daunting endevour than a permanent game like Hot Lotto. Hey, I'd love to be able to take the R2 down to Wilmington every time I visit Philly and pick up a Hot Lotto ticket as much as the next guy, but to compare it to a one draw, quick-pick only game is like comparing apples and orange soda.
By the way, the Delaware raffle is a much better deal than most of the other raffles out there (only Maryland's raffle, IMHO, is better).

Florida Raffle Ticket Sales Booming
There are a couple of other threads on this raffle. I was about to purchase 1 or 2 tickets, but that's a lot to blow. Looking at the odds, I guess there is a much greater chance of winning the top prize than the 6/53 game, but look at all the people who buy Fantasy 5 tickets and never win the top prize. Those odds are 1:376,000. So why are the odds for the raffle so great? If you buy 20 Fantasy 5 tickets, then you've got a 20:376,000 chance of winning. The odds for the raffle are 1:125,000

SC Millionaire Raffle
humor me Jimmy and post the odds on the raffle ticket from PA's raffle.
I think it will surprise you that the odds are much better and the payout is pretty good in comparison to other games that carry a 1 million payout. Gosh, most 20$ scratchers have higher odds on then the raffle....1 out of 720,000. ...

Hoosier Lottery 50/50 Raffle.
The Hoosier Lottery is holding a 50/50 Raffle drawing on 3. Apr. 2005. Tickets cost $2 and you get 4 numbers. The website says one drawing for one winner, so I think that they are guarenteeing a winner for this draw. It's about a month until the drawing, and the jackpot is at $5437 and growing. Any thoughts? I think this may be a good one.

In a lottery, the serial number is associated with numbers on the ticket, if you don't know what should be on the ticket, the serial number has no value. That is the differen
