What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Stack
Amen, The odds are not based on the set at all. They also never change. A good set and a bad set both
have the exact same odds. A SP and a QP have the same odds. The odds do not control the game but
are used to describe the random chance of picking the correct set. I don't know how you could put it
any better. The odds mean nothing to the system player because they are static. The odds are based on
a player making a random selection. If a player makes his or her

Ending Georgia Instant Games
Just for fun, I will include the best chances of winning a certain dollar amount, for each price point. This list is by no means all-inclusive. I have arbitrarily decided to list the tickets within the approximate range of half of the odds to twice the odds, as it compares to Jack-O-Lantern Cash odds of 1 in 4,800 when I won $100 on that game. That means odds of roughly 2,400 to 9,600, but I allowed a little leeway. As I have beaten those odds, it makes me hopeful what I may win, especially on t

Odds Don't Change When Jackpot Goes UP
You're confusing odds with division.
If your team has 1 guy and the other team 10 odds are 1in10.
If your team has 2 guys and the other team 10 odds are 1in5.
If your team has 5 guys and the other team 10 odds are 1in2.
If your team has 10 guys and the other team 10 odds are 1in1.
When you have two columns of assending numbers one running up and the other down they meet in the middle.

Q A: Are Premium Bonds worth it?
Sales of Premium Bonds continue apace. So are they really Britain's best kept secret , as National Savings likes to describe them? What are premium bonds?
Premium Bonds were introduced in 1956, when the government tried to encourage ordinary wage earners to save by running a 'risk-free' lottery.
Now 23 million people in the UK own at least on

Florida Fantasy 5's New EZMATCH
Congratulations on your win Pacattack05! I'm glad to see you hit!
I checked the odds on some of the $5 scratch-off tickets and I found that you will hit $500 on average, more times than you would playing $5 in the Ezmatch. Below are the odds for the $5 Crown Jewel ticket from the FL lottery web site.

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
I too have had 'trouble' with what's being argued so passionately in this thread.
When I lived in the Northeast, although I lived in New York State, I lived in close proximity to Pennsylvania. Every Fall The PA Lottery (for what I'm guessing is the last 20 years or more) holds their Millionaire Raffle. According to the raffles official rules, a maximum of 500,000 tickets can be sold. The PA Lottery has always advertised the odds for the raffle at 125,000 to 1 because there are 4 top prize w

The current odds of hitting the top prize in Cash 4 Life are 1 in 21,846,048.
Where I live we have Lucky for Life instead and the current odds of hitting Lucky for Life top prize are 1 in 30,821,472
The new Millionaire For Life odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 22.9 million .
Depending on where you live, the odds could either improve or get a little harder for you.
There is also the difference in the amount won.
I play Lucky for Life a lot, I will be playing the new

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Ok, now that we have the historical data posted, many of you can run your own analysis.
During the 2017-10-31 to 2025-04-04 run of MM, there were on average about 1.81 5 + 0 winners per draw.
Now, there are only on average about 0.53 5 + 0 winners per draw... hmm, interesting, since the odds are slightly better now than before.
There's on average a little more than 3.5 times more 5 + 0 winners in the previous run of MM.
Additionally, our calculation of the odds of getting 5 + 0 a

markov pick3
The 3 positions are as independent of each other as the next draw is to previous draws... so 0 through 9 has a 10% chance of being drawn in any position. This extends from a pick 2 through a pick 5 (quinto) game.
You can look at all 1,000 possible combinations of pick 3 draws and you will find 720 combinations where each digit is unique, 270 pairs and 10 triples. Even though there are more favorable outcomes if all 3 digits were different, there is no profit in playing 720 tickets... and the
