Thanks...Send me some money I'll buy you some!...just joking if you did they might lose!
I have been really really lucky with the bad odds cards...I gave them that name because the odds are so bad.
You can only win $50 or $100 as the name of the card is $50 or $100...wish they'd come out with some more like this because you know if you win it's going to be one or the other amt.
Odds to win $100 is 1 in 25.53
Odds to win $50 is 1 in 9.45...they word that as overall to win
If you ca

MUSL issues report about computerized drawing failures in Arizona
the same Pick 3 winning numbers three times within a few weeks, the report deemed it a statistical anomaly, and the repeated numbers were in fact apparently valid results .
Based on the results listed on LP, a few weeks is six weeks, with no drawings on Sundays. The odds of a specific number coming up 3 times in a specific 6 week period are very small, but probably not an anomaly considering lottery odds in general. The odds of some number repeating 3 times in a specific 6 week period, OTOH,

Hoosier Lottery often pulls plug on high-dollar scratch-off games before all prizes can be won
More than 51 percent of high prize scratch-off game tickets worth more than $1 million have gone unclaimed in the five years since IGT took over.
Prior to IGT's takeover of the Hoosier Lottery, 10 percent of high-dollar scratch-off prizes weren't awarded.
Wow from 10% to 51%.
That's because the company pulled the plug on those games before about half of the tickets could be sold.
Indiana lottery officials defended the increased rate of unsold prize-winning tickets, sayin

jasefan,
You seriously think a person can hit the following over the course of a year?
$2,000,000 on a $10 game with odds of approx. 3,600,000 to 1
$1,000,000 on a $25 game with odds of approx. 620,000 to 1
$250,000 on a $5 game with odds of approx. 1,200,000 to 1
$100,000 on a $20 game with odds of approx. 2,520,000 to 1
really?
Come on man!

Powerball sales drop busts NJ Lottery's 7-year winning streak
While not the same as with lotteries....that box of cereal costs more to produce than it did a few years ago. Wages go up. Health insurance costs go up. The stuff needed to make the cereal go up.
My first new vehicle was a 1973 pickup truck that cost $3000. And it wasn't loaded with options. My last new truck I bought was about $25,000 in 2007, an XL trim level. That same truck would cost about $32,000 today. It is what it is.
As for MM and PB. They are really trying to make the jackpots r

NY $10,000 Week For Life Game
$10,000 a week for life will have 1 or 2 $100 winners per book, all depends on how they were printed and if you get lucky to find a book with 2 of them.
It's not possible to find out how many are left for the prizes that aren't 1st and 2nd, but you can find out how many were printed by multiplying the odds for the jackpot, by how many jackpots the game started with. Then take that number and divide it by the odds for the prize you want to find out how many were printed.
For example: $

The short answer is yes. And I always do EZ Match. I know I'm wasting money, but I like the added game for $1 on this. I have hit $500 on it, once, many years ago. Nothing over $25 since I don't believe.
Want to be even more confused? Go compare the odds on EZ Match vs. a $1 scratch off when the promotion ends. The 'normal' EZ Match odds are worse than a $1 scratch off. Which makes no sense, considering there is no essentially overhead to it. No printing and shipping to be done, no claim proc

Why Powerball?
Finally someone sees the light.
It's just elementary school math, but you have to take the trouble to pay attention to it. I think most people just don't bother. I understand that when it's the occasional player, but not when it's people who go to the trouble of posting to a website about the lottery. Even stranger when it's somebody who specifically claims that they understand the odds. Case in point:
50,000 tickets containing all five winning numbers change the practical Jackpot odds

I used to win more
The odds of winning bigger prizes have definitely decreased over the past decade. I remember a few years ago buying 2 $10.00 tickets in two different stores in the same neighborhood during the same week and winning $1,000 on each ticket.
That would NEVER happen now!
The odds to win $500 on a $10.00 ticket used to be 1 in 500, now it's one in 3,000 or more, depending on which ticket is purchased.
Case in point - New York's new $30 ticket has the odds of winning $500 at 1 in 6,180!!

I usually start to look for odds or evens to swing back into balance when one or the other is +10 or 12.
I don't get too excited when say for instance odds are biased +6 to evens or vice versa.... it's fairly common for one to be a little ahead of the other. It's when one gets out of balance by 10 or more (+10) that I start picking/playing the other.
BUT!! As with all things lottery... I've seen odds get to
