Lottery Game Design White Papers
One White Paper on payouts is: But all kidding aside, there is a way to measure payouts to odds. It's by the Odd / Dollar. Or, Odds per payout Dollar, Odds / $Payout. As an example, if we take the Pick 3 Straight payout of $500.00 and divide it into its odds of 1 in 1,000, we use 1,000 / $500.00 and get 2 Odd / Dollars. The lower the Odd / Dollar, the better the payout. Sticking with Pick 3, a 6-way Box pays out $80.00 and the Odds are 1 in 167, divide 167 by $80.00 we

NJ Cash 5
1. Purchase a Jersey Cash 5 XTRA ticket at any New Jersey Lottery Retailer. 2. Each Jersey Cash 5 XTRA play costs $1. 3. Pick five numbers between 1 and 43. 4. If you'd rather have the Lottery computer randomly select your numbers for you, ask your Retailer for a Quick Pick. Or if you're using a playslip, mark the Quick Pick (QP) circle. 5. XTRA (optional): Mark the circle to add XTRA for an additional $1 per play, per draw to increase non-jackpot Jersey Cash 5 prizes and win $2 for

20$ NY scratchers BIGGEST rip off!
After playing for years its very clear and i saved the scratchers to prove everything. NY lotto claims a 3.2 chances of winning on the particular 10k a week for life game 1237. This is a BLATANT lie i had a check come threw i didnt expect and had decided to put half to playing lotto 1 game to test the odds. I purchased around 2,000-3000 tickets and have some come to some interesting facts. I have had 12 losing tickets in a row with 5-8 losers in a row actually being VERY common, the usual patter

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Personally, I'd love to play a $10 or $20 ticket with a top prize of $50k-$100k with excellent $100, and $500 odds. In my opinion, $100k is a life changing amount of money. There are plenty of games offering big jackpots, so I assume this type of diversity within games would be good to let players personalize their experience/desires. I know there are states that have top prizes of $100 on some tickets which are very common. That might work on a $1 or $2 ticket, but for $5 tickets I wouldn't

Does the size of the lottery jackpot matter to you?
They keep getting ungrateful and raising the odds on the games so I now wait before I jump in. I have been playing so long without winning that I view increasing odds as an attack on loyal players. My jackpot limits are $400,000,000 for Powerball and $150,000,000 for Mega Millions because the more they raise the odds the more I expect to lose. The Powerball second prize isn't so great anymore given the $2 or $3 ticket price vs the Mega Millions second prize being decent for $2

KA-BOOM! 4th of July PA Millionaire Raffle! It's On!
PA raffle is a good deal for a numbers game. The odds of winning a million, while not great, are far better than the various jackpot games, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Cash 4 Life, PA Match 6, etc. Overall payback on the raffle is a tad under 51% which is only a fraction of a percent better than PA Pick-5, which is sold twice everyday. Playing $20 straight on same number in PA Pick-5 will also pay $1 million with better odds (1:100,000 verses 1:125,000) than the raffle... However, PA

Powerball dropped revamp that gave better odds !
~with my compliments Eddessa_Knight with Light Sports APNewsBreak: Powerball dropped revamp that gave better odds IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) The group that runs the Powerball lottery game approved, then abandoned, changes that would have given ticket buyers more bang for their two bucks than the redesign recently implemented, The Associated Press has learned. Powerball managers changed the game's odds in October to build bigger jackpots and revive lagging player interest. Jackpots became f

How often P3 digit repeats on top next draw?
What would you consider a good gamble? Gambling by it's very nature is assumption and risk. My view of Reality The House odds are the stricter reality. The State government's Pick 3house odds and payouts are worse than bad. Their game and their rules, but that's the gambler's reality. The house odds are just like Aunt Bee's pickles. Like sheriff Andy Taylor says, we just have to learn to love em' . Gamblers start at the top of those odds and attempt to work their way dow

Pick 3/4 Meter Made Math Moves
You don't have to observe it in a particular data set for there be a probability that it would occur, so when you compute the probability of something like 3 moves having a simultaneous long gap you have to compute the probability that ANY of those sets could occur. Same is true if you are running a simulation to see what the probability is. If it HAD occurred in 1,2,3 and not 6,7,8 you would have had exactly the same reaction. Let me give you another example. Let's say 3 4 5 6 7 8 comes u

Hello everyone I am new and could use some help?
pick 3 odds 1000 choices 000-999 odds 1000-1 pick 4 odds 10000 choices 0000-9999 odds 10000-1 the above is for straight play. boxed divide y 6 for pick 3, and divide by 24 for pick 4 pick up a playslip and study your options and how to mark the playslip and payouts for the different options would recommend a lot of reading and study and playing on paper before committing money. if you can't win on paper you can't win welcome to LP
