odds are reduced
Don't be so pessimitic.
I think we are confusing two different topics here. If you buy 2 tickets your odds of winning the jackpot do cut down in half.
The way you are looking at it, which I still feel is a unmathed asnwer, is that when you buy two sets of numbers there are still pretty much the same odds as having one set.
You are not comparing your numbers to the amount of tickets that are left when you buy a ticket....you are comparing it to what are your odds of hitting a jackpo

odds are reduced
Buying one Pick 3 ticket gives you odds of 1 in 1000 or 1/1000, buying two Pick 3 tickets equals odds of 2 in 1000 or 1 in 500 as a reduced fraction...
Not even close. Just as hypersoniq pointed out, you are reducing the number of combinations left by one, not by half.
The odds against any Pick 3 are 1:999. When you buy one you have 1 potential winner and 998 losers. When you buy another combination (play a different ticket) you have two potential winners and 997 losers, not:
100

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
Here is how to think of this problem.
Suppose you are going to buy 100 tickets. You have two options. One is to buy 100 tickets that all have the same numbers: Let's say for example you buy 100 tickets that all have the same 5 white balls and the same mega ball: 5, 10, 20, 25, 30 MB: 35.
What are your odds of winning? What advantage have you accrued for $100 over spending just one dollar?
Granted, if the drawing comes up 5, 10, 20, 26, 31 MB: 36 you will have won $700, but if yo

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
I have recently read about people that buy $50 of tickets on drawings and don't win a penny. I ask them why the heck don't they?
If you are going to play more tickets then there are powerballs or mega balls then buy all of the bonus numbers. For Powerball that would be 42 and for Mega Millions it would be 46. Not only do you gaurantee yourself a win but when you buy all the bonus numbers you cut your odds down drastically.
Example: Mega Millions you buy 46 tickets with each mega ball

lottery truths
ok this should spark a little interest, i am a keen lottery player i have studied patterns and developed every chart possible over a period of 5 years with not very good results, by that i mean im not a millionaire yet! after showing someone my research he pointed out something very simple but very important that i have seemed to overlook and is rarely ever mentioned. now we both agreed that certain numbers come up more often than others and there must be a reason for this and he used the term '

"Key Three" numbers and other stuff....
Your right. Let's try this. First... if anyone can print out one of my old 10 column Short Sums Charts i would appreciate it. I can't make it print out anymore. It times out on me. Missing digits ... All positions ( Finding digits that are missing for at least 5 or 6 days) minimum. 1. If you find 3 digits missing at the same time in All positions for at least 5 or 6 draws.... well,,,, (without going into the math of it right now) ...it's almost a Lock that one of the 3 digits will hit

If I were doing this I would use different code for each. The first for non-bonus ball games and
then one for each of the other four. Just prompt the user for bonus ball infomation and then route
it to the correct code. Using one formula to cover all the different options would be a hair puller.
Below is the code I used for a combo, odds and probability calculator written in qb64 for non bonus
games. As you can see I was not concerned with the lines of code . The Downloa

Pennsylvania Cash Pop Starting November 18 2025
Looking at their prizes, there are are 9 multipliers...
X5 - 1:31.05
X7 - 1:75
X10 - 1:105
X15 - 1:180, The level needed to break even on playing all 15
X20 - 1:270
X25 - 1:630
X50 - 1:2,250
X100 - 1:4,125
X250 - 1: 15,000
So the odds depend on which multiplier is assigned to which number, because the odds of the actual draw are 1:15.
So look at it like this... on $1 bet the odds are 15,000 to one on getting an x250 AND you need to beat the 15 to 1 odd

New Millionaire for Life multi-state game coming in 2026
The initial knee-jerk reactions are predictable.
When people are actually in the store buying tickets and comparing this to other games they will realize that this is a decent game. There are some states where that may not be true but from Michigan I can tell you it looks good compared to everything else we have.
I don't like waiting years and years for the 6/xx jackpot to get big and the Fantasy 5 here has never been over a Million since it started 20 or 21 years ago. Also in the years
