Lottery rigging scandal prompts security audit in South Dakota
Hot Lotto, PB, and MM are drawn in other states and Dakota Cash is the only drawn (online) game the South Dakota Lottery has.
The commission received a presentation on cyber security Thursday from Jim Edman, a top official in the state Bureau of Information and Telecommunications.
Iowa had a fox guarding their hen house, but their RNG was not connected to any other computer, which makes SD Lottery concern about cyber security puzzling.

If you have any facts showing that people with those type of name are more prone to cheat a state lottery
Does anyone else appreciate the irony that people posting on a lottery forum apparently can't grasp the significance of how common the name is, or how many gas stations and convenience stores are owned by members of just a few ethnicities?
I hear that most of the incidents where a lottery game was actually manipulated, or where there was an attempt to manipulate a lottery game, peopl

CARSON CITY The Nevada Supreme Court has nullified a $150,000 punitive damage award against the Imperial Palace because of egregious misconduct by a Las Vegas lawyer during trial.
The court did, however, uphold a $99,000 judgment against the casino in favor of James Grosjean who said he was illegally held by security guards of the resort.
Grosjean was detained by casino security

Definitely hiring Seal Team Six as my security
Would be pretty cool standing in front of that big check with 2 security personal dressed in all black suits with ear pieces standing on each side of you. I'd probably wear a wig that's diff color than my hair with a hat and glasses myself. And when answering questions, most answers would be -no comment on that-. Like are you going to quit your job? No comment on that. Where do you work? No comment on that. What are you going to do with the money? My professional team and I are working on that.

MUSL CHIEF OUSTED OVER JACKPOT-RIGGING SCANDAL
More likely it means, Nothing to see here. Just an isolated incident that has nothing to do with how we manage things. We just had one bad employee apple who acted alone and didn't take advantage of a lack of oversight from the people who should have ensured that security procedures were adequate. Just forget it ever even happened.
I haven't seen anything in the press, but the important story here isn't what Tipton did, it's that the security policies made it possible, even if it had been ju

Are you ready for the attention?
YAY!!! Someone with a brain. Don't forget that foiled kidnapping plot against Letterman's infant son or that Bieber's ex just put her house up for sale due to a stalker who apparently doesn't care about no contact laws. I know Oprah and Buffett have some serious security around them and if you watch the documentaries put out by BBC and CNBC on security for the wealthy, it's more than a tad scary.
And that's without bringing in what happened to Anneli-Marie or the Seong and Monteverde familie

Texas man charged in Iowa lottery case contests extradition
A Texas businessman accused of helping a lottery security official to try to claim a rigged $14 million jackpot is out of jail while he fights extradition to Iowa.
Robert Rhodes, 46, of Sugar Land, Texas, left a county jail after posting bond April 9, three weeks after his arrest on two counts of fraud, court records show. He's expected to contest his extradition to Iowa during a May 7 hearing and is under electronic monitoring in the meantime.

Whats the correct way to redeem an out of state scratch off?
No, it was just a comment on Indiana lottery security.
Somebody with their security told a buddy where to buy a winning scratcher and the guy bought it and won but word got out about the inside job.
Todd posted it in the news when it happened and it has been discussed numerous times on the forums.
