Pick-4 for Dummies Week of Friday 05/13/2011
You pick out the best numbers which are right for you. I suggest that players select some numbers based on their astrological birth sign to play, and they can also pick a few of the Default astrological birth sign(s) of the day. Today, the Default astrological birth sign is Sagittarius, and the default Pick-4 (Box) is 3,4,5,6. Now this number can fall 24-ways, with my system we try and calculate the digit that will most likely fall in the first position. If we get that right you now only h

Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
P.S. What is your goal posting in this thread? Did you forget you asked What are the Merits of Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems? I flipped a coin between I think it would be a waste of time. and discard vote just on a slim chance you would actually follow through on something you started. Read this, read that, study this, study that isn't discussion, but that's exactly how you answered when I asked the merits of whatever it is you are trying to prove or disprove. You starte

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Rjoh said.... That's the reason I've only tried developing a winning system for the pick5 and jackpot games. How can you attempt beating a Pick-5 game with hundreds of thousands of possibilities, when the most logical plan would be to first try beating a 1000 to 1 odds with the P-3?........ You have to crawl before you walk you know.... In Florida it's about 376,000 to 1 for the Fantasy Five. About 376 times harder than the P-3......Is the microphone working?....lol Not to men

Computer Draws ? Outliers or just broken software?
There are already some worthy answers but it's a question worth a lot of thought and discussion. I don't know the answer and I'm surprised to learn it's never been discussed to death. Probably this ought to be a sticky thread on Lottery Systems Forum, the Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, and Math Forums. I believe you've offered one of the best threads I've yet seen on LP to date and I hope it gets discussed to death enough times to allow the most circumspect of us to arrive at opinions from our

Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Well, one thing is for sure, chart reading and interpretation are not his cup of tea, but I'm sure he makes up for it in other ways. Oh my, silly me; Next time when I see a red line an with arrow pointing at it with average expectation -5.26 between a 7 and 8 line and probability (%) is written next to it, I'll simply ignore it and assume the 7 and 8 lines are meaningless. Only about 2.6% of the 50,000 random gamblers should average -5.26% so maybe you could ask the author what the 7 and 8

fixed
First, there's absolutely no evidence that it was done intentionally, which means it was a just a flaw. About 10 days into the no doubles anywhere run, one of the LP's Tennessee players emailed the TN Lottery about it. My claim of a fix was based on the response given by the TN Lottery and posted on LP. Basically it said the RNG had been tested several times and in fact double numbers had been drawn during the tests. When the TN Lottery finally admitted the flaw in their system, that exp

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
to me, systems are ALWAYS based in predicting what's coming, based on what just was. you may have worded it a different way, but that's still what you are inferring. A system that uses solely elimination is just saying eliminate combinations that aren't very likely to occur based on information I specify, everything else is allowed . However, the elimination , at least in my case, is on a pick-by-pick basis. My program picks 6 random numbers, and passes them through what I call filters ,
