One ticket sold in Indiana wins $435 million Powerball jackpot
In Calif, they have 2 state lottery drawings a week and it goes up a million each time. Still, last year we went without a winner for 8 months and the year before no winner for 6 months. The odds are better than PB or MM but people are not winning. It's a big state so a lot of tickets are sold, too. So, even tho I tell myself I shd stick to the better odds of the state lottery, I'm not convinced. I'm of the mindset that the better practice is to have one ticket in all drawings, i.e., PB/MM/State

The $500 odds are slightly worse than Fortune.
The 20K odds are 1 in 30k though, better.

very low win rate on scratch offs lately does location matter?
I had to let scratchers go. Or at least, not pin great hopes on them. The odds that a 3 digit daily number hits straight is 999 to one. The balls are bubbling in the air, and can fall anywhere. Every one has a equal shot. The odds that out of the 6 million or so scratcher tickets printed and distributed through the state is going to yield a good hit on the ticket that you happen to pick up in the few stores you frequent is so high, is not measurable. NJ's website lets you keep a running check on

Post your scratch ticket results
Odds are only decent on that $20 for $100. I am sure it will be until Monday until I can find it here.

US lottery operators worry as fewer millennials line up to play
well, with the dang odds so high on so many games, not enough winning going on to get them interested.

US lottery operators worry as fewer millennials line up to play
Honestly the increasingly slim odds to win because of push for Mega jackpots or Higher jackpots across board have hurt and will continue to hurt lotteries going forward
At state level the games are becoming less and less winnable with matrix/cost changes. Illinois lottery and Lucky Day Lotto because of increase in # of balls have far fewer winners (We can go months with no winners in Illinois regular lotto)
Illinois Little lotto (Pick 5 game) changed to Lucky Day lotto a few years ba
