US lottery operators worry as fewer millennials line up to play
Yeah.. I mean, it might not be beneficial for them to pay out more money but as a person who enjoys playing the lottery- it really ticks me off that the payout structure is so darn low. I wish there was a legal alternative with better payout. For example, The Pick 3 lottery pays out 500 to 1 on a straight when the odds are 1 in 1000. I would like a payout of at least 800 to 1 and any casino/betting establishment placing those odds would still be making a decent profit. Again, nothing legal that

I want to play the lottery in France.
May I ask why a French lottery as opposed to ones in other countries? Are the odds better in France?

US lottery operators worry as fewer millennials line up to play
If they can't understand electoral college vs popular vote, I don't believe they have a clue what odds mean.

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
I forgot when they changed the PB odds. It was October of 2014 or 2015. I think it was 2015. I rarely bought PB tickets bc of the price but that year I noticed people were winning PB all the time. It seemed like once or twice a month someone was hitting the jackpot. So, I started buying PB tickets. Good to remind myself that the odds are horrendous, tho. But, when I buy the Calif Super Lotto which has much better odd - we dont get a winner for 6 months and then 8 months.

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
It's a rounding thing. Would it make more sense to say, less then one percent? Your odds are between 1 and 0 leaning way way toward the zero side. OK, your odds are virtually zero. I'm sure my schoolmarm would take your side . . .

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
What other draw games does your state offer? Any time you go from the millions to the thousands, your chances of winning are infinitely better.
For example, the odds of winning the Powerball is 1 in 292 million. The odds of winning the Fantasy 5 game with a jackpot of $200k+ in Florida is about 1 in 377k. There are people in Florida who have won the Fantasy 5 jackpot multiple times over the years. They have prize rolldowns if the jackpot isn't won, and you win a free ticket if you match

What games will you Play in 2017?
I have been playing in 4 decades now and I am tired of them jacking the odds up and, in the case of power ball, the ticket prices too.
I watch and see how many people actually win in my state for each draw and it has become fewer and fewer as the odds go up and the jackpot takes longer and longer to roll to higher levels.
What fun is it playing a game that fewer and fewer people win? If nobody else is winning that is pretty much a sign that I can set my buy-in higher and higher with
