Why do lottery jackpot winners win? LUCK or FATE?
If I told you there was a new game out that had a 1 in 5 TRILLION odds of winning, yet someone wins the JP every month, would you still say Why not me? . My point is, is there a limit of how hard a game has to be before you say to yourself that the probability of me winning the JP is so low that it's not worth spending the money? Is it half a billion to 1 odds, 3/4 billion, or more? I'd really love to know the answer because I've been wondering for a while now.

The overlap system
This has nothing to do with class, it is about the odds. If you had any class you would provide prior results from this method. That is your whole problem. You post methods, but don't explain the chances or the odds for your methods. This method has hit 17 times in 16 years, but you act as if it's a sure thing. You just happen to get lucky. Now how many people do you think will try this method? I won't post no more replies in your threads, You will never learn.

My chart for analyzing Overdue Numbers and tipping the odds in my favor
I will look into doing those wander73, I am mostly playing the 5/36 pick 5 games, better odds at winning anything.

Losing faith in lottery, dismayed at what I'm seeing in America
I've been on the same boat as you, been playing over 2 years now and spent a lot of money on it. The key is you have to be consistent and never give up. Play smart and don't play $1-$2 games, best bet is to play the $20 scratch cards. With mega millions, powerball you are just throwing away money. You said it yourself, you study the odds, then you should know the difference between the odds of powerball and scratch cards. Scratch cards 1 in a million, with powerball 1 in 292 million. With powerb

$10 vs. $20
I'd say go for the $20 because of a higher jackpot, less total tickets, better odds.

Been playing the lottery for years without a major win. So...
The odds of winning are bad to begin with, but they would really be impossible if you didn't buy at least ONE ticket!

California Lottery Scratch Off's are a scam
I stopped playing scratchers. The odds and prizes stink including the second chance prizes.

California Lottery Scratch Off's are a scam
i still play but i notice the odds keep on getting worse. the average jackpot for a 10$ ticket for a grand prize of one million dollar win used to be 1:1,200,000 now the all of them except one are 1:2,400,000 before the 2nd chance replay used to give away one of the grand prizes at the end of the game. now its small prizes ranging from 2 25 thousand winners and the rest smaller amount winners. Wack. I dont even put them in anymore. They know not many people look at the o

Georgia's Jumbo Bucks Lotto
So I can't find much of anything on this game in the forum. There's literally only been 4-6 winners since it started last year and you can see sales going down. I've tracked it and there's only a winner every 4 months or so. It's not very popular either, probably because the payouts aren't the best compared to the odds. I think GA should revamp the game and make the odds better, or add more payouts. What good would it do to send an email to lottery officials?
