Doesn't need to be rigged with odds that are astronomical. I've come snip close to hitting a jackpot myself and I've felt at times it must be rigged too, but then I look at the odds and realize my chances are slim to none and the results are to be expected. Ah a true repeat has to be every digit in the same position; according to the odds (1:1000) That's why doubles don't repeat as much , less chances to do so.

Have you considered the 'order of remaining digits' after each draw? This will reduce the uncertainty of repeats and those parametric odds/evens.

Since both have astronomical odds- should you put $4.00 down for each and end up winning either one, only then will you have your answer.

I think it is easier when you play tickets $10 and below. I don't play many of those when I play because I know the odds are bad. So if you win $20 - $25 on those you quit because most likely you won't do any better. On $20 on up tickets the odds are better so you play more knowing you have a better chance to win a large prize. Bad thing is the losses add up quicker. Losing on 5 $5 tickets compared to losing on 5 $20 tickets is $75 difference! I played 6 $20 tickets today before winning a free t

I've been playing in 4 different decades now and the lotteries keep getting ungrateful and jacking up the odds. Now I will only play Powerball if the jackpot gets up to $600 mil or $750 mil because of the new prize matrix and odds. If the odds were way better I'd probably start playing at $65 mil or $80 mil.
