$348 MILLION: April misses bring May riches
When you think about it, a hundred dollars spent on either games with their odds is likely to only return $8-$9.

Planning on getting a roll of $20 tickets for my birthday
Instead of buying the whole role you'd be better off finding a roll starting at the first ticket and playing until you hit a large ticket. That is if you can find a store that people will not play the game, because you are playing it. The odds of you buying a hot roll are very slim at least this way you are limiting the amount you loose if it's not a hot roll or a lower tier jackpot roll (odds are typically very small for that). Or if you just want the thrill of buying the whole pack go for it.

Planning on getting a roll of $20 tickets for my birthday
Birthday is May 12. Any PA players want to give advice? I know SupermanStone has had a lot of luck on the new $20, but I haven't done well on it. The odds of $500 are also low. Win It All has better odds of $500, but is older. The $20 Blowout is in the Blowout series, which I tend to avoid. Will have to give this thought for sure.

Post your scratch ticket results
Congrats on the wins, all! Haven't been posting because other than one $100 on the $20 Win It All, haven't been hitting at anything. I personally hate these new tickets. I am 2/17 on the Bens ticket for $5 and $10. The $100 odds were not increased enough for such bad overall odds. The new $20 has been just as bad. I bought the last 5 from the beer store on the first day, and won $20. Weirdly, more people are buying these tickets up. The beer store never is that high up on the first day.

$314 million jackpot puts Powerball back in spotlight
its ea. odds multiplied together, so if it was dice, 1 in 6 x 1 in 6 x 1 in 6 = 1 in 216

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I completely agree. I used to buy scratchers daily. Now I buy them, see the massive loss, then take a week or two off. Back when we had Billion Dollar Blockbuster if I purchased 5 tickets I always won something. I won $1,000 4 times and $500 more times than I can count. The $20 Gold Rush running at the same time I won the gold bar $500 more times than I can count. Those days were a lot of fun. The number of duds they are pushing out now takes the fun away. When you purchase $200 worth of scracth

OMG, Big, big thank you to Long Odds for mentioning that 14 sum and Lucky's chart. I picked out all the numbers that were sum 14 for this evening and I got a hit. I just got off my bus and played it just in time. Thanks Long Odds. I hope you got a piece as well. Congrats to all other winners!!

I need help with odds calculations
Members are always asking about calculating lottery odds, I'm surprised Todd hasn't included one among the many tools at LP.
