Odds? 2 of 3, pick 3
Though my method of calculation the number of combos the 5-7 pair creates is different than yours, the results (54) are the same. I multiplied the other 8 digits times the 6 possible ways each creates and added the two 3 ways using the same digits creates. But what about the odds of another pair: 1-1?
I came up with nine 3 ways plus one triple for 28. The odds are obviously different on which 2 out of 3 digits are drawn.

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
1st of all - The odds of winning are not the same as your chances of winning.
***The odds of winning is a mathematical formula based on the numbers of balls used in a given game.
***The chances of winning depends on a lot of variables, but can be a lot better than your odds of winning.
***
2nd of all - Every Jackpot game has combinations of numbers that come in more often than others. This I
***can prove with no problems. - Just look at any of my post beginning with Com

Odds? 2 of 3, pick 3
Although I think it would make more sense to look at odds seperately for distinct and pairs, as when you make your prediction you have do decide which you are choosing.

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Odds are getting worse and worse. They will not get better until people quit playing. It is all about revenue and to ensure it grows every year the odds have to get worse. I tried my hand today. Bought 2 tickets. A Cash Spectacular and a Super Max the Money. Won a free ticket on both. Turned them both in and got one more Cash Spectacular and my $30 back. The Cash Spectacular won $50. Turned it in and got my $50 then walked away. Maybe I will play again in a month or 2. My heavy gambling days are

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
I think it's very telling or funny (but not in a ha-ha way) that the odds for the latest tickets released by the Georgia lottery (including the $25 ticket) can't be viewed on the website.
Makes me wonder how bad are the odds, lol.

Best way to be economically smart when playing PA ?
Here is my opinion on each type:
$1 tickets: I agree, but the 7-11-21 ticket seems ok. I once got a small profit with a $7 winner.
$2 tickets: Really hard to win over $10. I mostly play them when I want to play a bunch of tickets and haven't done well on the higher priced tickets,
$3 tickets: some do well on them, but not me. Can be fun to play sometimes though.
$5 tickets: odds of winning often aren't much better than on the $2 tickets. Try 2-4 at a time of ones with 1 in 200 or be

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Speaking for myself, I think there are some good odds on the $30 Cash Spectacular tickets. I hit $1000, $500, and a few $100 $200 winners last year. I hit almost nothing on the Max the Money so I would stay away from those and their evil sister, Super Max the Money.
I think someone else said this before and I agree with it...the older tickets in rotation probably have the best odds at the moment.

Yes, the odds...and I don't really need that really big JP and all the attention that goes with it.

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
How do you not understand the odds improvement is based on the strategy proving correct?
When you make any choice that results in the field being reduced and that choice turns out to be correct the odds of winning are improved.
If you filter down to one line and all those filter choices are correct, you then must win the jackpot. It simply does not matter if that lines stands at 1 in a billion, when the filter choices are correct and the resulting lines are put into play you win no m
