Many years ago (in 1998) I devised a system for this game that actually worked really well. Back then, they did not have the mid day drawing -- so I'm not sure how that is going to affect things. But, in week 1 ($70 per week to play), I won $100 -- and in week 2, I won $2,700. In weeks 3 and 4 I won nothing -- and quit playing altogether. You or the computer pick random positions on the playslip by throwing a dart at a random spot on it (if you hit a spot that you've already picked, toss that and repeat). Or another way is to have your own set of Chinese character balls at home, and reach in and grab one at random and mark off the corresponding spot on your playslip and repeat (without replacement) until you have the 5 (or whatever # needed) symbols. In other words, lottery numbers have no special mathematical meaning to them.

First day of month pick-3 system
I cannot take credit for this, a friend of mine showed me this a few minutes ago. This seems to work for Florida, check with your state to see If it is as successful. Checking the past year, only one time did this not work. Look at the first day of every month in your state, focusing only on the evening result. Half of all lottery retailers across New Jersey were not been able to issue any tickets from Friday night through Monday as a result of a technical issue, a state Treasury spokesman confirmed Monday.
