Nevada lawmakers propose lottery to fund education
The only people who need be concerned about this are the people who operate the Nevada Numbers and the Nevada Keno games. Almost all of the remainder of the games are confined to casinos, or, in the case of some Keno games, are electronically transmitted to and from casinos that are under the same ownership. In addition, lotteries just don't have the flash, the atmosphere or the aura of casinos.Any state lottery in Nevada would rely mostly on the play of state residents.

There was a guy who worked at the Mirage and was a 'runner' for people who worked there and wanted to play. He had a steno pad entirely filled up with numbers on each page, front and back. I don't know if there still is but at the time there was a Nevada law that you could only bring a limited number of lottery tickets b
