First part is wrong... any increase in chances of winning increases the odds of winning. If you buy 1M tickets your odds of winning are almost about 1/293 instead of 1/293000000. That's the simplified model. It's really (1,000,000-#ofDuplicateLines)/293,000,000. Your odds of winning per ticket would not increase. Thanks for the response. Although, the MSM keeps on equating El Gordo with the PB. Hopefully, Todd can send out FYI's to various media outlets to let them know the difference. I think now that people are seeing just how hard it is to hit it now...many will buy a ticket instead of ticket(s) like they use to. I think PB just hurt themselves with this move. Sure i will buy a ticket but that will be about it with these odds. They needed to add more ways for people to win to keep the excitement going because most know they will not hit the jp so they aim for the lower winnings.
