What you're really asking is Are the odds of you ever giving a panhandler a few $$ the same as your odds of winning a lottery jackpot? When put that way my answer would be yes , a panhandler is as likely to get money from me as I'm likely to win a lottery jackpot.

South Carolina Scratchers!! What is going on?
Just wondering if anybody else in SC has noticed that apparently SC has a new company printing their tickets and the odds are getting worse for the players! As a $10 ticket player, I liked the fact that our state's lottery had better odds than NC and GA. Well I guess they figured they could make more $$$ by printing more tickets in a series without increasing the number of winning tickets. For me GRT was the best game paying out $500's and $500 nuggets - I never won over $500 on it but won way over 100 $500's $500 nuggets. The game is now dead. The odds for winning $500 on GRT was about the same as shown for GR - what's strange is even tho the odds SAY the same I only won two $500's on GR playing about the same number of tickets as I did with GRT ......how can that be when the odds are almost indentical. What I don't get is the odds for $500 on the old GRT is about the same on the new GR. 197 or somethiong to one. I got so many $500's on GRT and I think ONE or TWO on GR. And I played about the same # on each. Not bragging, just fact, I got over 100 $500's and Nuggets on GRT - and CRAP on GR. If the odds are about the same - what gives ? Is it my breath ??
