OHIO Lottery Machine was Hack using Fhhl Hacking it.
All security systems at some point have a human managing them. A security manager may have a great system at work but many like to take their work home where the security may not be that good. The tech's that maintain the equipment come and go almost as often as the rain. Find the person behind the throne and start there. Ever heard it said that mechanics cars are the least maintained. Who wants to fix cars all day long then come home and work on their own stuff. Personal computers

Indiana woman claims Blue Chip Casino owes her $28M
Thanks for the compliments folks. People seem to like these stories so here's two more. Every year the Nevada Gaming Control Board (http://gaming.nv.gov/) publishes a report on ways of cheating that peoplel got caught at. At one casino security was checking the parking lot and saw a camper with the door open and a tv on. But the tv was showing one of the blackjack tables in the casino. Security stopped and the two guys on the camper said, Come on in. Incredible. Their partner inside the

how to clean junk files for free really free
How old is your computer? Seems you have a lot of stuff bogging your computer down. If you to Kim Kommando.com, she has a lot of freeware to clean your computer. She checks everything before putting it out in her free tools area, so I wouldn't worry about catching anything. Try to find a registry cleaner at her site. The other option is to set your computer to a much earlier date by performing a System Restore . If you're using MS, and it's been doing it's job by setting a date every

False virus alerts for Avast users
A Lottery Post member who had virus warnings today let me know that Avast (their virus protection) installed an update that the company admits is producing false positives on many Web sites. (Apparently including Lottery Post.) A false positive is when the software incorrectly identifies good code as a virus. They are putting out an update soon to correct the problem. In the meantime, if you use Avast on your computer, please ignore any warning messages you get on Lottery Post. Also,

I think I got ripped off
The retailers scan the barcode on the back, and enter the security code which are the four numbers in the serial number on the front under the latex that are in boxes or parenthesis. I don't know if they are also required to enter the dollar value of the prize but that may be the case as a security measure since that can only be revealed by scratching off the latex. Once they've scanned the barcode on the back and entered the scratched off security codes, the ticket is inactivated so even if you

Poor man's "Blind Trust" or LLC.
This is an interesting discussion. Here in Louisiana, a few Powerball prizes have been claimed by LLCs. The only downside to that is members of the LLC are public record, since LLCs are registered with the state. Most states also have that data online so getting it is quite easy for those up to no good. We had a winner claim in the name of a trust a few years ago. She had her attorney go claim the money and handle the publicity on behalf of the trust. On the websites of both the Louisiana

Lottery 'glitch' leaves players suspicious
from the article: The glitch might not have happened at all if the lottery had bought the software to pick the random numbers from a different vendor. A Rhode Island firm, Szrek2Solutions, proposed a system costing more than $100,000 less than the one offered by Smartplay. _______________________________________ I corresponded with Irena Szrek and her husband in 2003, when LosingJeff and I were investigating the Hoosier Lottery's fraudulent operation. The RNG's manufactured b

N.C. Powerball lottery winners worry what their preacher will think
Clairvoyance, you really need to get your facts straight. I'm not pointing my finger at George W. Bush. But you really should do your homework before you make comments like that. When Bush was elected, the Clinton Administration set up a series of briefings to assist with the transition in the White House from Clinton to Bush. In fact, Clinton's Nat'l Security Adviser, Sandy Berger, prepared 10 briefings for Condolezza Rice who was to be his successor. One of the major concerns was the rise
