Crossed the border into RI and played some of their horrific tickets. 5x $20 20X Lucky, 5x $20 $1Million, 5x $20 Cash Spectacular. Got 1 winner of $20 on 20X, 2 $40 winners on $1Mil and 3 $40 winners on CS. I think on CS the odds for $40 are better than the odds of winning $20. At least that is what the clerk told me. I played 20X Lucky last year too and it is the worst $20 ticket I ever played and seen in my life.

I didn't think about it that way but you're right with draw games. You know the true odds, although minuscule. With LL games or even with other high denomination games, there are days when there are no TP prizes in circulation, so the true odds would be zero on those days.

NY Lottery is really shameless. The odds always worse and worse, and now the ticket Price has DOUBLED with offering the lower odds. How crappy is that. I hope people eventually gonna find out that and quit buying the C4L tickets! P.S. Never bought a C4L ticket

I also agree with House Edge about Sweet Million vs. Cash 4 Life. I'm not saying he's wrong. Any of us here can clearly see that he's absolutely right about the odds. All I'm saying is that your average lottery player does not care about the odds. All they look at is the payout.
