Ohio New Years Raffle Starts November 20th!
Thanks rdgrnr! I was wondering if anyone would think it was a good idea. I think this is the 4th raffle for Ohio. It use to be called Raffle to Riches but this year and last year they changed it to New Years Raffle . I thought it may be a good switch to buy a block of tickets instead of buying one here and there because I've played ever since they started the game and have had no luck but I hope that will change.
Diamond, don't worry, I keep my eyes posted to the website every day and they up

Is there going to be another raffle in Michigan? Before Christmas?
I can't find any news anywhere. I would like to buy one as Christmas presents for my parents.

do you think that QPs repeat?
You are probably confusing a random lottery ticket with a not so random raffle ticket. Each raffle ticket has an unique number because each number is picked from a list of numbers once and the players have no choice about the numbers he gets. When there's a drawing to decide the winner, there is alway a winner because the drawing picks a number from the same list and there's no roll over of the top prize for another drawing.

PA Millionaire Raffle
Your welcome, and good luck to everyone else who's playing. I happened to see the Lottery made an announcement yesterday, and according to their count at noon yesterday, they sold a solid 4000 tickets in just over 2 hours. Either they misrepresented how many have sold, or sales have picked up. Here's part of the article FWIW:
Less Than 68,000 Tickets Remain for $5,089,200 in Prizes to 6,000 Winners

Latest Michigan Lottery raffle offer $1,000 a week for life
I like this a lot better than PA's current raffle. Although the $750,000 cash would be great, but this raffle has better overall prizes and more of them. I will be recommending this to PA. 25 prizes of $50,000 is even great. But I would love $1,000 a week for life as that would take a lot of pressure off worrying about investing and when the next check is coming. $36,000 a year is still pretty good, especially on top of another part-time income.

Idaho Lottery raffle made a millionaire tonight
Yeah Delaware is the most chicken**it of them all in offering only 250,000.00 dollars for 10 bucks for it's raffle! I don't like the fact that Delaware is only going to give the one top prize of 250K from all the money it's going to collect! The first state is the most money grubbing state I have seen in the raffle and lottery game industry out there! I don't play raffles in any state period!

NY Turkey Raffle Gobble Gobble
Does anyone know, if the 1 million dollar prize is paid out annually or in a lump sum? The NY lottery website does not mention the payment terms.
