why do the odds for each drawn combination decrease with the increase of the jackpot sum, or in other words with the number of bets? The odds of each potential combination to win is not reduced by how many people are playing or how large a JP gets, they are fixed. The PAYOUT may change because more people are playing, thus increasing the possibility that there will be more than one JP winner, or more lower tier prize winners.

Ted's Stateline Mobil (iirc) is one of the highest volume stores in Mass, as well as one of the highest payouts. While it is true that there are lesser grand prizes to be had, the number of mid-level prizes ($50-$500) has improved greatly. The top prizes on $1-$2 games have increased from $1,000-$5,000 and $10,000-$25,000 up to $10,000 avg. and $20,000-$100,000 respectively. $250 at odds of 1 in 3387 is hardly impressive, especially given our knowledge of how many tickets this group tends to purchase. On another note, that prize is a ripoff. Here you can win $500 for nearly half the odds and the game has the same top prize.

Probably next Monday. It's a trip. After reading your post, I went to check out the odds for those new games just 10 minutes ago. They were there posted. I read each one. Now, they're gone. I think someone jumped the gun. They usually don't post new games with odds until the day of release. Oops.
