The odds of breaking even depend of the payout distribution and the game dimensions. By odds and payouts a lottery game is average lost. For the winners it is a good investment, for the loosers it is a waste of money. There are not enough cheap games where you can play for 25 or 50 cents. Give poor people a chance to play!
