win billion dollars
RJOh, I bought a Michigan Raffle. For some reason, they're going really slow on sales. Last time they had a $50 super raffle, it sold out in one week. It's been like 3 weeks alerady; half of them sold.

travel to buy lottery tickets
I live in Maryland and buy scratch-offs, raffle tickets and sometimes MegaMillions tickets here. I commute through DC and buy raffle tix, sometimes PowerBall and a few scratchoffs there. I work in VA but rarely buy tix there. When I travel I tend to buy tix in whatever state I am in. It's fun to see what other staes do that differs from my home area states.

Hoosier Raffle
They have picked the winners after only selling 140k of the 325k tickets so they will take a bit of a loss here. They were supposed to pick 770 $1000 winners but I only see they have picked 700 on the website. Can anyone else verify. It is very weird that the numbers are entered out of sequence. Always something with this state.

Kentucky 8/2-8/31
I had a pretty good feeling 777 was coming. I kind of think it was rigged to come out. Yesterday was the drawing for the Raffle remember. The 7-7-7 raffle that was supposed to have been done on the 7/7/07.

7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
Any news on the NJ Raffle winners? Almost all the FL winners have come forward to claim their prizes and the names have been listed, even the $10,000 winners. I can't find any news articles about the NJ Raffle.

Texas Lottery may consider offering raffle
The chairman of the Texas Lottery Commission has asked the state attorney general to study whether it would be legal to add a raffle to its array of games.
Raffles offer better odds of winning than other kinds of games because a limited number of tickets are sold and there can be no duplicate winners. Twenty-seven states already offer raffles with mixed success.
Lottery spokesman Bobby Heith said the commission would still have to research the idea before starting a raffle game. But offici

Kentucky Lottery raffle drawing date set
I know. I started to buy tickets for this game, but the whole magic of the game was going to be the draw date of 7-7-07. When they changed the date, they changed the meaning of the raffle. Although, I still like the name of the raffle and may just yet buy a ticket.

7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
But RJOh, they're $1 each, not $20. So even 50 extra tickets is $50. Just 5 raffle tickets would be $100. Also, since the raffle tickets are printed in numerical order, not with random combinations, I think it's a little different. PB tickets don't sell out and there isn't a limited number printed. Just my personal feelings no matter how silly it sounds.

7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
I hope in a couple of weeks I can come back in here and tell all or you that I am a jackpot winner from KY's 7-7-7 raffle that is being delayed due to poor ticket sales. I was told that they won't have the raffle until the sell 60% of the tickets.
