State Raffles. What are your thoughts on them?
I personally love Raffles that are run by lottery commissions. Usually the raffle price is higher ($10 or $20 a ticket) but the odds of winning are much higher than even Cash 5 games. I bought 3 PA Millionaire Raffle tickets when I vacationed there in May. The draw is July 6, 2013. The odds of winning $1M are 1:125,000 and even better for the many small prizes. I would have bought the Illinois ones if it were possible to buy online directly from the Illinois lottery commission. Thoughts?

Can't Touch this... da dit dit da...
I have to agree WinD, Odds never change but cycles do. I only participated because I think I can beat the odds, as slight as it may be for me to accomplish this feat that is why I participated. So, Even though I didn't actually start until after 3:00pm I just used the box's for both midday/evening, only having hit (11) times therefore not being able to beat the odds yesterday. I'll keep a running log of what happened everyday.. Saturday 6/22 - 11 hits. Sunday 6/23 - 10 hits. Mon

Buying multi lines vs a single line for a JP game
Buying a Single line or multiple lines DOES NOT change the ODDS- it increases your chances if ever so slightly but not the odds, those NEVER change. That is why you can and will for the most part get a single winner of the MM/PB jackpot from amongst millions of other losing tickets. That individual has all the numbers on a single line, meaning if you are in the right place at the right time for a QP being spat out of the machine- or having the winning line on your play slip- you are victorious.

What are the chances that a person be at the right place at the right time to win a jackpot?
The odds when you flip a coin are 1 in 2 for heads and 1 in 2 for tails. If you flip a coin once, do you expect to get half of a heads and half of a tails? Odds are the chances of a particular outcome happening. The actual result can be any of the possible outcomes.

why do black americans rarely win big jackpots
Some of us here do think we can get BETTER ODDS by using strategic methods instead of randomness.
