Those "raffle" lottery games
Yeah, I think about how fast the 1st raffle in Ky sold out and that the ticket was a lot more. Now they have a $5.00 raffle ticket and can't even give them away with promotions. I wonder if they could have sold out if they sold 1,000,000 tickets with 2 one millions top prizes then the current 500,000 tickets and 2 $500,000 top prize.

Kentucky Lottery Lucky 7's raffle draw delayed
The drawing date for the Kentucky Lottery's latest raffle-style game is being postponed due to slower than expected ticket sales. Dubbed the Lucky 7's Raffle, the winning numbers were set to be drawn and then announced on July 7th (7-7-07). As of July 1st, there were still 305,730 of the game's 500,000 tickets remaining. With only 39% of the overall tickets sold, Kentucky Lottery officials decided to push back the draw date to allow players more time to purchase tickets. There were seve

Those "raffle" lottery games
it depends on the person if they are comfortable spending that much on one ticket but in georgia the raffle is $20 so i was there to get megamillions and i decided to try the raffle anyway because the odds are posted as better than a larger jackpot game like megamillions so i didnt mind it but if you think its too much then you should follow your heart either direction

07-07-07 is coming!
well, 777 is the number God marks on his people (verses 666 for the antichrist)., so I am very tempted to play some type of game that day., Even though I told myself I would be done with it all at the end of this month. Always seems to be something to draw me back in, isn't there? I think my games of choice will be powerball or the raffle on 777. But I will have to check on that raffle because I don't know if I can still purchase a ticket or not.

Maryland June Raffle
So gang, I got my two tickets for this upcoming raffle. Then I read the rules and drawing stipulation. They left the door wide open for just WHEN the drawing will take place. Target date is around the 21st of June but the way these are selling it could be til the end of the year. My theory was, not to buy so early this time. Wait til after the Mothers Day rush. Welp they are still under 100,000 tickets sold as of this writing.(They need to sell 420,000.) I did get two bonus early bird co

New Florida Raffle
ODDS OF WINNING. Which is better? Last time I didn't buy a Raffle ticket and I have even less money now to gamble! But maybe the odds are much better than the Lotto. I play 4 combinations twice a week. $40 would be 10 drawings. Two Raffle tickets = $40. Lotto has 1 in 23 million odds. (starts at $3M and is now $10M) The Raffle is advertising odds of 1 in 125,000 (12 winners guaranteed to win $1M) 25 people will win $100,000 (odds are 1 in 60,000) and 200 people will win $10,000

Expensive Michigan Lottery tickets sell-out quickly
My buddy and I split the cost of 1 raffle ticket. We were each going to purchase one but then we thought, hmmmmmmmmm 50 bucks for one ticket (and chances are we're not going to win) so we split it. I think a lot people did this for the super raffle. Personally I think they should speed up the drawing time. I mean they sold out it 3 days they should conduct the drawing like 2 weeks after they sell out. JMO
