Do some number combinations have better odds?
Now your just being childish again. Everyone knows that our ideas for getting better odds are experimental.

Test Drawings
If the balls were bias in any way, players could use that bias to get BETTER ODDS.

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
yoho originally wrote... To maximize your chances of winning a jackpot, you should spend your whole lottery allowance on a single draw. This is true ... but it really depends on how much is being spent and/or what lottery you're playing as to how effective it is. If you're playing one of the lotteries with millions:1 odds, and you're only spending a couple of bucks or-so a week, then decide to instead spend your $52-$104 or-so one time a year ... it really won't make much of a differenc

Do some number combinations have better odds?
You call it negativity, I call it reality. With MM, 97.5% of all the $1 tickets will win nothing and in about 80% of the drawings, 100% of the tickets will not win the jackpot. That's the reality yet millions of people that know the reality play every drawing. As the jackpots grow, millions more people unrealistically begin playing the game. If we were having a general discussion and the subject of playing lottery games came up, the consensus would probably be it's unrealistic to believe

Do some number combinations have better odds?
The house edge only applies to any winnings. You'll win more hands playing the better percentage money payoff games, but one bet probably can't cover your losses. The jackpot game players betting the same amount every hand and can cover all their losses in just one hand. The odds against me catching a 7-spot were probably about 11,000 to 1, but the overall odds were much better because I could get a payoff by matching 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 of the numbers I played too. I played a $1 3-spot, a $1 4-spo

Arizona pick
I'm in Az, too. I think originally the pick was 36 numbers, right? Now it's 44. I am guessing your numbers now don't include the 8 additional numbers added to drive up the odds and increase the prize. I quit my old numbers when the odds changed and they added new numbers. Luckily in Az we have a company that is a professional lottery pool. I've been with them for 2 years now. Last March one of my pools with 10 players hit the Fantasy 5 for $247,000. You have to be an Az resident to play

Heads up on Texas All or Nothing Promotion playing $6 or more on Texas Lotto game
I would rather take the $6, pick my own numbers for All or Nothing then to play the Lotto where the Odds are way higher. Don't care if I would get a free All or Nothing. The chance of winning something is on the All or Nothing as I usually get 8 of the numberes every day. Had 10 numbers once and 9 numbers 3 different times. If I pick a set of numbers to win, I play the opposite because if I have them one way, I will have them the other and the payoff would be $500,000 instead of $250,000. I neve

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
Again, if you don't like my wording, I can't do anything about it. I clearly stated in my post that you CANNOT increase the overall chances. If you continue to choose to purposely interpret my post in the wrong way, I cannot help you. However, your third paragraph makes a point. I may not have been clear enough. For my first point, I meant you should not buy the same ticket more than once in the SAME DRAW. Of course the chances of 4-13-21-35-43-47 has an equal chance of appearing
