Do some number combinations have better odds?
If it is truly random, then the odds can be accurately determined.
By saying that I'm guessing about my odds, you're implying that the game isn't a completely random event.
The logic of the statement makes it inherently so. Either the game is completely random, and non-biased, or it's not completely random, and it is bias.
So EITHER I'm guessing about my odds (because the game isn't completely random), OR I know them (because the game is.) You can't have it both ways. I g

Could an entire roll be duds?
Not too good Lucky !!! I remember writing to the lottery asking about the odds on tickets - say they are 1:3.00 - they wrote back explaining those were the estimated odds adding up all the tickets to be printed ........... and selling them all ............... leaves a lot of hit and miss room and their answer still never made sanse to me. As far as your bad luck - I bought a roll of $200MS a few years ago - got a $5k on one ticket and all the rest were duds .................. just wondering and

They are but 1:175M odds are longer if you're talking about winning the same amount of money.

Nice work Boney, you got everyone all riled up. Did you know that when the PB jackpot was $588 million I was playing for 5 of 5 with odds of 1 in 575k while you were playing with odds of 1 in 5 million?
