How would you calculate the odds by removing certain combinations, It'z not the pairs or triplez that count in the probabilitiez.. It'z the remaing numberz used AFTER removement verses the Total numberz in the Game'z POOL..that determinez the Probability ,... it also helpz approximately %,..if you uze the Math of a Stat$talker ....

Thank you for all of that math! I don't play PB or MM very often. The odds just boggle my mind, but I've been wondering lately what makes the most sense. Am I kind of wasting money chasing small jackpots? A F5 win would help my immediate life, but it's not life changing. Isn't that what most people are after? So, my first step will go back to playing JTP when it's at least a million. I'm thinking of dropping F5 and JTP at some point and just sticking with the bigger games. 2025.....

The only time I play Powerball or Mega Millions is when it is part of a group. It is the only way to overcome the huge odds of winning. Therefore, with group play, the only value that matters is the cash value.

My sentiments exactly. Especially if they have a self service lotto machine, he'd never know how much he/she spends daily. I find $420/week spent on the lottery is suspect, but I will spend that in one few hour outing @ the casino. Keep telling myself just once spend several hundred on the lotto but never do. The odds suck either way but lately it has been slightly better with the one armed bandit.
