Sorry it took me so long to answer; I didn't see this thread again until yesterday. It boils down to gaming preference and when a game like the Florida raffle sells out that quickly, the lottery commission know they have a game people like. This is an all-or-nothing type of game because over 1.249 million tickets will be losers. Each state will probably add their own twist to the prize pool and maybe a state will reduce the number of million dollar winners and add 10,000 $100 winners. My b

While the article says all raffle states have a top prize of $1m, it's $250,000 in Delaware. The top prize in the Michigan raffle is annuitized.

I bought a GA raffle. Don't expect to win anything though. 1:1000 to win $1000 I think. Oh well. At least I can say I tried right? lol Good luck to you all. I would have bought a FL raffle but the tickets were gone before I could jump the border.

New Delaware Promotion
Delaware still has to sell close to 35K tickets for its raffle that it started back on October 30th (100K tickets overall). I just got an email that says now you will get a free Powerball quickpick with a raffle ticket. Take it for what it's worth.

Florida Millionaire Christmas Raffle Sold OutReply
CA Lottery Guy.....I've purchased 5 Raffle tickets. I have cut back a bit on my daily lottery plays, but, even by cutting back, I have spent more with the raffle and pick 3/4 combined then I would have spent on just the pick 3/4. Based on my experience, there has been increased spending, not a cut back.
