West Virginia Lottery begins allowing credit card purchases
I know some stores here and IN will not take credit cards anymore, but Debit cards are welcome. From what one retailer in Indiana said too many folks were contesting the credit card charges. Yet here can still use my credit card without a PIN, just wants zipcode entered. About as lack of security as you can get.

California woman chooses wrong lottery ticket because of "rude" person, wins $10 million
From what I understand, the CA lottery does review store security camera footage for large prize claims. I suppose they know by now if the story is fiction. Doesn't really change anything, does it?

The jackpot was won by a player in County Mayo, it was a Quick Pick ticket. I hope the winner gets independent legal and financial advice before claiming their win. In that way, they can maintain their anonymity and secure their long-term economic security. Good luck!

Gail Howard "Percentage System" vs Karnac Theory
No can do. Its the best security I have since Jake (the dog passed away).
Brandy is an ankle biter.
I've been thinking of reinstalling the security camera or getting a Ring doorbell with floodlight and siren.
Once they hear a loud siren and the lights come on they ain't hanging around.
Or throw a cat at them!

Three tickets bought at same store share the same $8.3 million New York Lotto jackpot
After the three tickets split the $8.3 mil jackpot from Wed 11/24/21, the jackpot was reset to $2 mil.
Last night, Sat 11/27/21, a single ticket matched all six numbers to win the $2 mil jackpot.
The New York State Lottery used to show if the winning tickets were quick pick, regular (meaning the winner selected the numbers themself) or if it was a subscription ticket. They don't show that any longer.
I wrote to the NY Lottery and asked why not. They answered that it was for security me

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Can you imagine Stat$tweaker switching teams and working lottery security? He'd be stalking all the players who hit the Megaball on $50 plays to find out their secret math.

Canadian man has selfless plans for $2 million Ontario 49 lottery prize
That's fantastic! However, I hope he gets professional, independent financial advice, so he can provide long-term financial security for himself and his family for decades to come.
