Lottery Raffles
Spain's El Gordo lottery started this a long time ago -- these raffle games are nothing new. They also copy the fact that El Gordo's biggest raffle was at Christmas. El Gordo means The Big One .

Michigan Lottery starts Millionaire Raffle game
Popular tickets will likely sell out in just 10 days
If you play by the odds, check these out: The Michigan Lottery is offering a 1 in 100,000 chance to become a millionaire.
That's better than your shot at winning Classic Lotto (1 in 10.7 million) and way better than your chance of taking home the Mega Millions jackpot (1 in 175 million).
Heck, it's better than the odds of being struck by lightning next year (1 in 400,000).
These are the best odds we've ever offered on any lottery

Delaware Raffle
Too bad Delaware isn't about to join Hot Lotto. Yes, you're going to tell me HL is computerized. I wonder if NY is going to try a raffle game (King Kong Millions wasn't a true raffle IMO).

Delaware Raffle
The tickets seem to be very slow to sell. A lot of people here still have no clue what it is. And some retailers still don't know how to sell them on their computers. Seems like once again people have lost interest in the Delaware Lottery as a whole. There is, however, no shortage of Powerball tickets being sold.

PA Millionaire Raffle III
While we are waiting to find out the details of the game that is replacing UNlucky for Life, I found this tidbit at www.pabulletin.com. It appears to be exactly the same as Version II.

King Kong Millions Results
No I never purchased any ticket out of state yet. But this has now got me even more excited, and anticipating the Million Dollar Raffle. I kind of like the PA raffle better because there are a lot more prizes, even if they are lower ones. Although that first prize for King Kong Millions is bitter sweet.I would have liked it if PA would have included a $5-10 million dollar top prize, plus the $1 million for the other top prizes. But I won't be complaining as long as I win something.

Penn. woman wins $1M lottery raffle prize
Deb Redding joked with a man buying lottery tickets at the customer service counter at New Oxford Shurfine Market on Monday afternoon.
I think you might win, she said.
It wouldn't be a stretch. Since 2002, two people have now become big winners after buying lottery tickets at the store along Route 30.
Most recently, luck was with Hanover resident Brenda Gaydos. She won one of five $1 million top prizes from the Pennsylvania Lottery's July 7 Millionaire Raffle drawing, lottery official
