It's interesting to note that while the $241M jackpot was the largest ever won in Iowa, some members were saying the jackpot wasn't large enough for them to pay $2 for a ticket. There are many local games with better odds, but their jackpot seldom reach $50M before being won which make them less attractive to many players. We don't need to spend less on PB and MM in order to have games with better odds because they already exist.

While I think that you should reconsider your position that certain groups are better or worse than others (in terms of odds) I'd offern one piece of advice, and also have one point I'd like to raise in curiosity. Advice - When choosing numbers to play, the only thing that can help raise your Expected Value is to pick number combinations that other people are less likely to pick themselves, thus lowering the odds of you sharing the jackpot (note that 80% of tickets sold are QPs, so sales

My theory is 1 line with all bonus balls gives that line TRUE 3.9 million to 1 odds. I agree with you Ronnie regarding the better odds when playing all of the power balls. I've actually played a state lotto utilizing this theory. It's only a matter of time : ) I think your on the right track, good luck.

Played two Lucky Day Lotto games today, but only one EZMatch and won, take a guess, yeah $1.00. What's interesting is on the Illinois Lottery Facebook page, someone was criticizing the game and here is what they posted: The overall odds of winning an EZ Match prize are 1 in 4.89. The odds of winning a top $500 prize are 1 in 210,000.
