I play 5 or 10 dollars straight occasionally on our Daily 4. It's a little expensive to play every day. With our Cash 5 the jackpot is only about 20k to 25k, with odds of 435,897 to 1. That sucks. For 5 bucks straight, you can win 25k, that's not parimutuel, and odds of 10,000 to 1. Congrats to the winner!

True if you're only looking at the jackpots, but the overall odds of winning a prize playing MM and PB are 1:40 and 1:35 while the overall odds of winning a Classic Lotto prize are 1:54 and that prize is likely to only $2. It's only the jackpot size that makes it more attractive than the other two games. Still with a jackpot of $105M, PB may attract more players Wednesday. Fortunately, OCL has no competition on Monday.

I checked the odds and made a decision. I quit. The odds I feel are so stacked against us. I went back out last night and bought random $500 worth of the new $20 ticket. I have $210 to cash in today and I will be keeping the cash. I have been playing for many years but the NY Lottery is getting so greedy I feel I can't wni anything anymore. I actually have been winning, $600, $600, $300 x 3 and some little winnings but I feel like a loser in the end when I sit here with empty pockets. Good Luck

Picking 6 numbers for a 5/39 game and wheeling them is almost like picking only 5 numbers and hoping to get a hit, you know the odds of that happening.

Thank you for your reply. Since you have 840 chances, your odds of your wheel matching 5 numbers is 64.5 to 1 . How can this be? I am playing a 5 if 5 wheel which guarantees a 5 winning line 100% if I hit 5 numbers in my chosen of 16. So I am essentially playing simply against the odds of getting the 5 numbers in my chosen of 16. Isn't this the case? Also, is there a chart anywhere that lists the odds of getting all 6 numbers in a wheel of 16,18,20,24 numbers in a 6/49 game? Than
