NY Scratch-off Discussion
The odds of hitting $500 on ny scratch-offs are low, for $10 tickets its at least 1 in 1,500 and for $20 its around 1 in 600...
I checked the florida lottery website and noticed the odds on $10 and $20 tickets are much better for some of the higher prizes like $500-$5,000

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Bobby, the odds of a 3/30 game are not the same as Pick 3.
In Pick 3 you have 10 balls in 3 containers.
The odds are 1/10 X 1/10 X 1/10 = 1:1000
With a pick 3 of 30 (one container holding all the balls) the odds are:
1/30 X 1/29 X 1/28 = 1:24360.
Which game would you rather play?

Amnightus asks, How many Mathematicians Play the Lottery
That must be this one.

It's interesting how so many articles on this like to talk about how huge the odds are that someone would win 4 jackpots. The total odds they quote are those you get when you multiply the 4 individual odds together. I don't think she was predicting those hits in advance.
It's also noteworthy that 3 of 4 of her wins were Scratchers...
It's doubtf

I hope you're not assuming that all systems are designed to predict what's coming .
The Challenge players aren't predicting the results of the next draw either. They are simply saying their 12 numbers and 4 bonus numbers have as good of a chance at being drawn than any other set of 12 numbers and 4 bonus numbers. I don't have understand the inner workings of yours or RJ's systems or even know which combinations you're playing to understand whatever they are, they too have the same chance of

Powerball 28 The Most overdue Red Ball
I was going through a list of Results for the Powerball Game and i've noticed the Red Powerball # 28 has never hit as the winning RED Powerball Number since the first Powerball Drawing was held in New York which was back on January 7th, 2009. That was 258 Powerball Drawings ago! Mathematically every RED powerball # should hit about once in every 39 Drawings on Average since there are 39 RED Powerball #'s to choose from ( 1 - 39) . Since 258 Drawings have already taken place since the Powerball D

If one ticket is no better than another ticket and they all have the same odds of winning or losing.....
That's only suppose to be true before the drawing and I'm not sure it's ever true which is why I only play combinations I pick, I think their odds of winning are better than just any combinations.
